Description
From Del Rey:
Out of the blue, a beautiful girl asks Kakeru to run away with her. This could be any boy’s dream come true, but there’s something strange afoot. It turns out that the girl is on the run from a shadowy government organization intent on using her psychic abilities for its own nefarious ends. But why does she need Kakeru’s help? Could it be that he has secret powers, too?
This manga is great! It doesnt bring anything new to the table but still manages to stand on its own with cliches that are cleverly used and spread out evenly. I recommend this to all shounen/action fans.
awesome manga...up until volume 6-ish. The last two volumes felt kinda rushed to me. I dunno....it really had great potential as a shounen manga, but i think it should have been spread out a bit more, and maybe have a little more character development. There were moments were it felt like the author just kinda threw something at you like "new ally, here catch! oh and by the way, she had a crappy past and yeah, that's about it." But don't get me wrong, i enjoyed it nonetheless, so i'll say it was worth the read. just wish it was longer.....
the run of the mill shonen-esque story which could have been worth reading. The plot certainly had plenty of scope and other references to draw upon, but it was badly mangled and bungled during execution and only serves to further highlight the hackneyed theme chosen while failing to grip reader's attention at all.Reading on is mostly a chore with no real interest created by the author in the fate of the characters or the characters themselves.Verdict--barely readable
I adore this type of manga, in fact i wish there was more, but if you're not one for something done over and over this wont be for you.
The artwork is beautiful. i love all the characters in it, and it does have some mysteries in it (which, admittedly, one might be able to easily guess the answer to)
The plot is rather nice, and it has a nice feel to it. Made me happy to read Remember, if you're one for main characters with hidden powers then this is the manga for you.
I am expecting something good out of this manga and i do hope i get it (in fact i am also hoping for an anime version i like it so much)
Psycho Busters is a nice manga I'm not going review this manga or anything right now, I just want to say...
Isn't Takemaru a mix of Lucy (Elfen Lied, she has kinda psychokinesis powers) and Akito (Air Gear, also has a cold personality and wears exactly the same eyepatch) Especially at the page where they said that Takemaru was standing in a classroom with dead bodies around him. That's exactly like Lucy in Elfen Lied.
Pyscho Busters is one of my fav manga =3, I like the Art and Story...I do think there is some Romance in Psycho Busters (but maybe thats just me ^^) anyway i enjoy Psycho Busters and Im hopeing for more Chapters ^^
The manga is fast paced and typical shonen. That being said, I cannot help but feel that things are rushed, making it hard to swallow. The storyline is not given proper development, the characters too, and even the background information; supposedly to give the manga a mysterious aura. But it did not work. That aside, even the art is nothing special. Characters are stiff and not giving a 3D shape. And the manga is rather light considering the children's mission to 'save the world'. All in all, it's pretty average.
I've read 8 chapters and I'm very curious to know what kind of power Kakeru has. I like how they build suspence with the magic powers and all. Each characters has their own powers and they're powerful too. There's fairly enough people to remember who has which powers. It's interesting and easy to read. I want the powers to control air, wind, oxygen or whatever it's called.
After reading only 7 chapters, im expecting alot out of this manga. I love mangas where the main character has a hidden power. I also hop it isnt too short and lasts really long!
