Never the less, this chapter was... lame >_> and Draggy, but that is quite common right now... and the bad guys seem to be pretty confident in their victory.
and I agree, Killing Gillians is a VERY impressive feat, is not like any VC shinigami can do the same, and is not like seated officers form squads to kill Gillian level hollow.

Question: Exactly why was Yamamoto's vice-captain outside of the barrier? I mean with all the vice-captains half dead and all. ._.

Maybe he is a captain level shinigami (the first division VC after all) and was making the Barrier himself?
