I'm looking for a series where you can see the author's art improve as the series goes on. I just think it's really neat to see where they started and how they end. A couple examples are Hatenkou Yuugi and Immortal Rain. Thanks! 🙂

I would suggest Rosario to Vampire and History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, but we don't read the same genres.

The Legend of Sun Knight - it's based on a novel, and the fans complained when she drew the characters too shoujo. After getting feedback, her art looks much better with each volume.
Detective Conan - got less cartoony as time passed.
Genshiken - got less realistic/detailed as time passed.

Alive - The Final Evolution art wasn't pretty (at all) at the beginning. Made marked/huge improvements compared to first volume release. Looks less amateurish and more pro shounen-like style as time went on.

There's One Piece. The art greatly improves over the course of the manga, and there was a good pictures chronicalling this, but I can't find it.
