lol, it seems like many of us are choosing one option, and trying to obtain the other options through it. What if happiness/satisfaction with life was excluded, since it's something that comes and goes no matter what, and we could only have one of the above, without the others (happiness still comes and goes)?

But being satisfied doesn't equal the others.

I go away and suddenly the spammers are the mods. Okay, I can adjust to that, but... Gorath?! And what's up with Mam's not being the top poster?

🤣 I'm corny.. I chose love.. 🤣 I have money.. I don't want to live forever.. unless the people I care for/love live forever too.. not to mention.. after awhile.. you'd be doing the same thing over again and that would get boring.. happiness is something you make for yourself in my opinion.. I'm not vain.. so I definitely wouldn't pick beauty.. with power comes major responsibilites.. so no, I have enough responsibilites..

Yes, exactly. That's basically how I feel about it. Money comes and goes, and so do the times. Happiness is an inside job (fortune cookie or a raisin box, but I like it.) and if you're too beautiful... people only care about the outside.

Mmm... in my opinion, satisfaction with your life is really similar to happiness. Well, I guess you could be happy but unsatisfied, but I wonder if you can be satisfied but unhappy? It's all very confusing to me...

Mmm... immortality probably wouldn't suit me either, since I get bored often enough as it is now, and I haven't lived nearly enough to even imagine what a lifetime feels like.

I think so. After all, you can have everything you need, but that doesn't mean it's what you want. No reason to complain, but you aren't happy.

Definitely money for 2 main reasons.

1. Maybe I'm just a cynic but I truly believe that the world revolves around money. That isn't to say that having money guarantees happiness, but its almost impossible to have the LUXURY of being happy without money. Alot of people say that they would rather do something that makes them "happy" then doing something that makes alot of money but those people don't usually consider things like providing for their families and other circumstances which require (more and more) money.

2. Money is the only thing on the list that can also help other people with the possible exception of love. However, love (ideally) only encompasses two people so money still wins out. If I had all the money I wanted, not only would I be happier, my family, friends and all the beneficiaries of charities would be as well.

I choose immortality like I stated before so I could do something to fix the world even if its bit by bit and even if I have to give up on love and hapiness to accomplish that.

I had to go with something else. I want those I care and love for to live fulfilling lives without worries, regardless of what happens to me. I'm not too sure I can express this well in writing, but then again I can't really explain why that was the first thing to come to mind.

Love was a very close second as I believe I would be very happy if I found the one person whom I could spend the rest of my life with.

Immortality would have to be close to the bottom for a few reasons. First and foremost, is it immortality with eternal youth? To age for eons would be an unbearable torture. Also, the planet will not live forever. Like all other living beings it will not last indefinitely. Once the planet dies what will be left? Space travel and planetary colonization would be a reasonable assumption, but is such a future guaranteed? If not, what will become of civilization? If you are still on Earth when the sun burns out, what then? And who is to say the human race will continue to live on? Humanity may be wiped out by drastic changes the Earth will go through, or it could wipe itself out through wars or exhaustion of resources.

I don't mean to be harsh or a buzz kill or anything, but when I think if immortality these are questions that pop into mind. I would not want to live forever floating in an infinite vacuum surrounded by darkness for all eternity.
