money, love, happiness, Satisfaction with my life... Kinda hard choice.. With money and love you're kinda happy right? Which would make you somewhat satisfied with your life?
Had to pick satisfaction with my life. Since I'd be happy and satisfied if I had enough money and love, and a decent occupation that I like (also part of happiness).
All of the options can be summed up into satisfaction, since it would basically mean you got what you wanted. 😃

Yeah i agree with Calliber, infinite knowledge xD. But knowledge does come with a lot of disadvantages, such as thinking too much about the world, making you depressed. Still, knowledge is important.

either satisfaction or happiness
that will be suffice if I feel content with my life
No matter how much money I have, if I never feel enough nor happy, that will be useless and I keep on wanting more.
If I am content and happy, I would not want anything more 😀
Peace is does not exist in death, since peace
dies with the person's mind.
Also, losing is life. I already have lost things that
I can never get back and I have gotten over it.I agree, peace exists as long as the person does, so wouldn't you want it? What would bring you peace?
And I also agree that during your life, you lose things, so maybe I'm actually running by chosing other than you. You're chosing to keep losing in exchange for always living. I'm chosing to have one lifetime and then stop losing. I have a set time to do everything I want while you can do it whenever. You'll live through history. Me, I'll only know my history because one day I'll be gone and everything I've ever had will cease to exist for me. So basically, you get everything you want, then go for eternity with just your memory. I live once, fight for what I want, then die and escape the pain of everything I lost, but also the joy of what I won.
Eventually, though, mams will probably end up the only surviving remnant of a lost ultra advanced civilization. That should be difficult, yet at the same time intriguing. No doubt his eons of boredom will cause some interesting quirks when he again meets with a new civilization spawned somewhere within the universe. But still, the boredom will be brutal on him.
Boredom is a friend of mine.
Instead of quitting the life, I can still live with the boredom.
I don't see anything wrong with being bored. It's not like
I want to die everytime I am bored.
Also, the overly romantised death crap doesn't really
work for me. When you are dead you have actually gained
nothing. Basically, it is no different of not ever even existing.
I don't mean to imply that you can't live with boredom - and I think that with eternity on your side, you could find quite a few ways to entertain yourself so you wouln't always be bored.
What do you mean by overly romaticized?
When you are dead, you cease to exist, yes? You don't know you were ever real. You don't know anything because you're gone. So goodbye longing, goodbye pain, goodbye joy, it's gameove and there isn't a continue option.
My point with you chosing to live forever is that you don't have that. You keep going and losing and longing and it's not going to end. I think I'd rather lose everything and that be it (so fine, I'm running) than live forever with the memory. I'd drive myself crazy. Maybe you would be able to sit around as the world slowly destroyes itself and be happy with the memories of what you had once, but I couldn't. I'm selfish and I would want it back. I couldn't handle immortality without a love that would last as long.
Darn that sounded cheesy.

I don't quite understand why so many people want satisfaction with life. After you got it, there would really be no point in living any longer.

Well.. No matter what you'd do in the future you'd also be satisfied with, so it just keeps on rolling, like immortality. If you'd get bored of it I guess you're not satisfied enough, which would automatically trigger that you're satisfied. ^^ So you wouldn't really get bored of it, you'd still be satisfied ^^

agree with that
true in many cases
if you are satisfied, than you just feel satisfied like being under drugs or somethin. Btw, I don't use drugs. Just using it as a comparison. You don't feel anything just satisfied
but the point that shaggievara brings up is also an interesting point. I never think about that. I just think that if you're satisfied, you just feel satisfied w/o ever thinkin about doing somethin else in another way 🤣 😀

<| If I can ONLY choose 1 |>
***** Money**** Defenitly tempting. The saying money can't bring you happiness is BS; that's just for certain contexts; money'll get you many things that can make your life all the more worthwhile.
***** Love**** Love is some form of happiness but not total happiness b/c else it wouldn't be a different option here. So Love, being a 'touch' of happiness in a life without money and satisfaction and all is a pretty meager choice I'd say.
***** Power**** And do what? Although the epitome of physical strength would be a bit like money. With some work and good putting it to use you could gain some of the other options... The same with power as influence but all in all not my preferred choice.
***** Immortality**** Permanent; unconditional immortality; No way in HELL! Just imagine yourself living forever; untill the moment everthings obliterrated and you're nothing more but a speck of dust in a 0K empty space 😲
conditional immortality (Immortality where there's still some kind of way to die); Hell yea 😀 It's a life without practicly any fears and if all goes to hell there's still a way to die; better that than going insane 😎
***** Beauty**** And do what? Smile?
***** Happiness**** Irrelivant; It's like money in a way that it gets spent. However you can have (hypotheticly) a practical endless amount of money. If you have an endless amount of happiness you're either drugged or brainwashed in a way. Happiness with neither money/succes/love is easily spent...
***** Satisfaction with my life**** Yea I chose this. This description should be what everyone wants right? Satisfaction with life means you're living the life you want; you're satisfied. Practicly this should be a fair amount of love/money/happiness/... for most people 🤨
If you can choose 1 to add to your current lifestyle it depends on what you're lacking offcourse 😛

Aren't happiness and satisfaction kinda similar? I had trouble choosing.

If you're unhappy, and not satisfied with being unhappy, you'd be unsatisfied right? So then you wouldn't be unhappy if you were satisfied ^^ (if that makes any sense)
It's kinda the ultimate answer.
It's like going back in time to change something. The thing would basically not happen, which would just make you not change it in the first place. Which would make it happen since it wasn't changed. Really confusing stuff 🤢 Might just become an endless loop, I know it would if it was a computer program 😛 Who knows? 😐

Happiness!!!
But what would truly make me happy?
Immortality: The fact that my existence will prevail and exist even if the UNIVERSE where to collapse (there is nothing wrong with that, as long you have the power to recreate everything at any moment you want)
Power: Unlimited Power so I can do anything I want with it, and thus be forever happy (creating and destroying the universe whenever I want)
because YES, immortality is boring, but not when you have toys to play with, and with toys I mean non immortal beings that don't want to die.
Satisfaction is the best option, but if you say "with your life" you imply that you will die and you will be satisfied, with is not cool in my book... why have satisfaction for a few seconds when you can have Billions of years of it 🙂

That's a good one (especially for a - hopefully - future researcher like me). Although I voted "Satisfaction with my life", because it kinda includes all the others to some extent.
