How do you treat spoilers? And if you're curious: http://arstechnica.com/science/news/2011/08/spoilers-dont-spoil-anything.ars
For me, I almost never read spoilers for anime/manga. But for movies, I tend to read the synopsis about 50% of the time.
Question: Do you read spoilers?

I rarely ever do.. But as I do every so often I guess I have to pick sometimes.
That goes for manga, anime, movies, books, etc...

Ditto.
There are times when you will miss what you never had. I wonder how you will find what you so desperately need.

Can't ever resist to read them, but I still continue on with the story.

I don't read spoilers for things I'm really into, but if it's something I'm just a little bit into or not at all, then I'll read away.
Spoilers don't really ruin things for me though, so if I accidentally read one then it's not that big of a deal.

hell no.
surprise element is very important to me
if i already know whats going to happen i cant enjoy it
i would never read spoilers...and if it happens by mistake,i wont read the manga(except if i forgot the spoiler)
this also applies to books, movies,tv shows etc.

If reading summary is spoiling (which i think is the case of a lot of manga) then yes i read spoiler often.
Since i like to know what i'm gonna read before wasting time on it.
@sarah-eats-cupcakes I don't think reading manga is a good idea then i mean most of the manga are so predictable that having surprise element is almost impossible even if you didn't read any spoiler at all.

All the time. For everything.
It's a problem I've got.
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

I read them sometimes. Don't read them as much now because I've been too busy this past year, so I just read the chapters when they come out instead.

Me too! I just can't kick the habit. Sometimes I even lose interest in the story (manga, novel, anime, movie, whatever) if I don't have a basic idea of what happens, first.

I read them when something really, really awful has just happened in the latest chapter of an ongoing manga, and the next chapter is likely not coming in English for quite some time. Like, say, there's a car accident, and one of my favorite characters might be dead . . . but it's not a sure thing. And the scanalation group has a note on the last page saying that this is the last volume they have translated at the moment.
I HAVE TO KNOW.
So then I turn to spoilers. (And then squeal excitedly when the character survives/drop the manga when I realize they're definitely dead.)

I used to read them for the Big 3, but then MS started releasing them when spoilers usually came out (~Wednesday), so there no longer was a reason to read them.

Sometimes now I can't help it. More if I'm losing interest in a series or too lazy to read so I just go read the spoilers to semi keep up with it.
