Return to Oz should have never been made, just like Godfather 3. It was an abomination of 2 Oz stories that didn't work, and they ruined a good story, IMO.
I rather enjoyed the Neverending Story. I was around 10 when it came out in theaters and remember seeing it (and crying at a certain part).
Alice was just creepy. And I never saw Watership Down.
If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.

Yep, traumatized a generation...
One of my sisters to this very day refuses to have anything to do with the neverending story...
And a friend of mine had to leave during the wheelers scene because of the memories...

That COULD be anything tragic. I thought it was going to be a story about some poor girl who lost her family in an earthquake or something.....This is like something out of Texas Chainsaw, I mean, there is a difference between normal tragic event, and the tragic event that is connected with sexual torture. I'm not blaming Dr. Doc for putting the link, I'm just she should've probably put a warning: "explicit sexual descriptions relating to the tragic event"

Uh huh......yeah, I'm weak, I actually shiver at the sight of torture because I feel emotions inside. That's what we called being human.
Which brings to today's link, Desensitization by the Internet. The phenomenon of which the current media has made death seem a trivial thing and increased degree of inhumane thought pattern in all of us. This, I believe, is the decline of our civilization, when we attribute horrible things as merely another event in the news.
