[color=green]What happens when you're reading a manga you like/fascinated with?[/color]

I was thinking what sort of reactions I have when I'm reading a manga I'm really interested in. Of the choices above I actually found it hard to pick one ... I would have liked to pick all of the above, but I found 'Depends on the manga' to be the best option for me. Sometimes I lose track of time, others I'm just left breathless.
I remember one time when I was reading a manga and I kept stopping. Odd right to stop reading something you're really into? About every 3 to 5 pages I would get up to tell my husband 'I really like this manga I'm reading' or I would just walk a bit to calm my nerves or something.
I think I only talked to the manga once or twice ....

*I really did try searching to see if there was a thread like this made, and was surprised when I couldn't find one ... So either my searching skills suck or there was none.
Sidenote: Man I must really be favoring the color green lately. Really pay no mind to this comment ... I just needed to say it.

For me, I selected being Glued to the manga for the poll. But, it's mostly being glued to the manga along with losing track of time. >.<
It can't be help, I just want to know what happens next, and my finger just keep clicking the pages / flipping the book. That's also when I start losing track of time.

For the rest of the options, like "increasing heartbeat", it really depends. Afterall, I don't think my heartbeat will increase when I am reading some peaceful manga. 🙂

depends on the manga, sometimes i scream, sometimes i cant breathe, sometimes i stop to marvel the brilliance of the manga, sometimes i curse, sometimes i hop around like an idiot - i'm very expressive when it comes to reading. but i never read slowly, i will consume the manga very very fast the more i like it.

I love it so much I start to (unconsciously) promote it to my family members and friends. I wouldn't care whether if they are otakus or not, I'm making sure they're reading each panel of it.
If they hate it anyway, I'll apologize and let them be.

Read it very slowly.. Re-read some chapters during it, sometimes a couple of times.. Find music that goes along with it well, and re-read... Sometimes when it not really the manga itself, but rather one of the characters in it that I'm a bit "fascinated" with I would re-read (again) the parts with him/her in it.. and usually I'd unconsciously start taking about it while talking about something completely different with my friends..
