I first visited / that certain board / a few years ago.
My friends and I were (not) talking about it in class and I warned one of them who was innocent enough not to know about 4chan to never go on / that certain board /.
The next day, he comes to me and says that / that certain board / was not as I made it out to be...
I just found out yesterday that newfags and gaiafags took over / that certain board / and totally changed it...
/ that certain board / is for pussies now...seriously, how did little kids manage to take over?

To be honest scum are everywhere on the internet, 4chan is just noticeable for the amount of them hanging around. But since they all piss each other off as far away from me as possible ,it fails to bother me one bit. I just choose not to visit 4chan and I won't have any reason to be annoyed.

/m/ and /toy/ are great, I've made friends from those threads. /toy/ also has trading threads and give aways, we are having a secret Santa now! There are also unequal distributions of toys, making some rare in areas, and some /toy/ soldiers will buy and send the ones they find in their area for base cost. /m/ scans and scanlates artbooks and doujinshi among other things.
Honestly I bet most of the people that think 4chan is full of pedophiles and scum are the same kind of people who think that anime is ALL porn and that the DS will open your kids up to pedophiles. Unapologetically ignorant and able to make snap judgments on other's hobbies without knowing anything about them.

Coming from someone who's actually been to every board. Let's not talk about /b/, that's just trash. Second most active board is /a/ which isn't really good either. (I visit that one the most though.)
Once in a while, a good thread actually pops up in those sections, but that's rare. And the other sections have less traffic than them. It's always the same copypasta. You know it's the truth. :/
But yeah, people assume that 4chan = /b/, which is really ignorant, since the other boards are actually relatively normal in content. There are newfags everywhere though. 🤣

The /b/tards or the trollz aren't as annoying as random porn add threads, for some reason, they annoy me the most.
But I go to 4chan almost everyday. First thing I do when I open my pc is checking 4chan. I'm kinda afraid of missing awesome fanart. I mostly dwell /cm/, /a/ or /mu/ but /mu/ has become the gathering place of asshats recently.
I always had the impression /b/ was full of grudge-harboring unactivated nerds who had been bullied throughout their lives and are taking their anger and frustration out on unsuspecting newfags.
If you want to start dwelling 4chan, you might want to start with /cm/ because its the nicest board. Its also softcore unlike /y/, which is terrifying at times due to the low quality of porn it has every time I visit it.
Want to wake-up in the morning, and when my feet touch the ground, Satan would shiver, look up and say "Oh, shit, she's awake"
