Interesting that people voted for the last poll option, though I have no clue if they're just messing around or not...
I'm with the majority and I don't scanlate but I'd like to. I just have no idea as to what I can contribute. And in general, I don't feel I have the time to do it with school, work, and all.

Yah, worked with NCIS for quite a while, then basically split off to do stuff on my own. I started out as just a proofreader/QC, but as time went on, I just got tired of waiting for people to do the things I wanted to see. So I started learning how to edit on my own. Now... I do what I want when I feel like it. 😉

Yay for 1-man scanlation groups. 😛

Well, I'm currently working as a J->E translator. I have my own group, but I often work with other groups because it's more efficient that way. My English grammar is pretty bad and I don't have enough time to edit. I enjoy translating since it helps me develop my language skills 🙂

No, and i dont want to...is my vote..
that because i hate spoiler lol..and i dont think i good enough to do proofread...and i cant translate japanese either.

i would only be able to scan only..and even looking at the drawing with or without japanese text i can pretty much guess how the story goes..

I used to be in a scanlation group, but then we had a small misunderstanding, and now I'm no longer part of it. But still, it was fun while it lasted. I guess it's a matter of finding the right group (I'm searching for one right now, so if anyone needs proofreading or QCing done, PM please!)

But anyway, I join scanlation groups to help projects along. It's sorta fun knowing that you helped make a chapter available.
