Touching, but i'm getting tired of the recurrent use of flashbacks. At least it's back to being "Naruto".

tooo sad, im kinda pissed cuz i knew dat tusande was in love with jiraya but never admitted it now itz too late 4 them 2 have a kid, child prodigy of 2 of the great sannin, dat would be something. also i never realize how much jiraya and the fourth looked alike.

Lol, i was gonna do that too D: Actually, I did do that. But i hate that Iruka said Jiraya did nothing but praise naruto. I mean, come on. Thats secret info!

Anyways. the code probably says pain has the w/e eyes and that naruto gets all the frogs. Teh END!

I'm impressed that Tsunade acted like a leader and accepted all the heat from Naruto, knowing very well that Jiraiya accepted the mission without any pressure from her as well as acknowledging how dangerous his mission was, Sannin or otherwise. Naruto's a different story altogether, never ceasing to tick me off in one way or another. He hears that Jiraiya dies while trying (and succeeding) to obtain information that may take down Akatsuki (well, at least Pein) and the first words out of his mouth are accusations towards Tsunade, making it sound like she sent Jiraiya out on the mission with the sole purpose of dying. Naruto, being the apparent selfish Sasuke-obsessed @$$ that he is, completely disregarded Tsunade's personal emotions and feelings. Jiraiya and Tsunade went to war together, studied together, were able to console each other when the tough **** happens. Jiraiya babysat Naruto for 3 years. Honestly, whose relationship would be closer?

On another note, Shikamaru's attitude towards the code is interesting. Unless it just reflects his generally lazy attitude, I would have thought that pretty much any Akatsuki related assignment would at least pique his interest for a bit, considering that its members were responsible for killing Asuma as well as Temari's younger brother (he came back to life, but w/e).

Yeah, I guess naruto was a bit harsch there. Even mentioning that if Jiraiya was the fifth, etc.... Jiraiya would have been a cool hokage though. O yeah, lol, i thought it was shikamaru that was talking to naruto in the bench. I only realized it was iruka when he said his name.

Shikamaru probably doesn't know that it's realted to Akatsuki (the code).

                                                                                                                                               I was counting the pages too. Anyway, it was a sad chapter, and I'm glad it's focusing on Naruto again.

Pfft, hahaha don't get ahead of yourself. You don't need to worry about that. At the pace the anime is going now the animators might die of old age before they even get that far...
