I was trying to learn Japanese at the beginning of the semester, but my classes shot that down. I am not taking classes this summer so hopefully I'll get at least the basics down in that time.

I've been working on it off & on for 3-4 years now, unfortunately "real life" makes taking an actual class impossible but there are lots of online resources & some at the local library too. Hiragana's made into my long-term memory, katakana I'm having a harder time with, and kanji, well....I know a few, but not many. dead

I've started Japanese in spring of this year but only have about a 25% mastery of it. Learning Hiragana and katakana. Hope to pass the lv 2(5 lvs total that I know of) test offered this winter before I transfer.
