I was trying to learn Japanese at the beginning of the semester, but my classes shot that down. I am not taking classes this summer so hopefully I'll get at least the basics down in that time.

I've been working on it off & on for 3-4 years now, unfortunately "real life" makes taking an actual class impossible but there are lots of online resources & some at the local library too. Hiragana's made into my long-term memory, katakana I'm having a harder time with, and kanji, well....I know a few, but not many.
