For me, it'd have to be Dr. Slump. Mainly cause of it's slapstick and foolish comedy. It's silly and doesn't take itself seriously.

I've only read the first 2 volumes, but I loved them.

Boku to Issho wins in a landslide, at least w/r/t anything I've read in the last year.

Liked Angel Densetsu very much, but it's not p.y.p. funny. Actually I found it pretty grave (well, some scenes like the father's dojo were genuinely laugh-out-loud funny, but Boku to Issho is that out of control on practically every other page).

Ping Pong Club and Cromartie High School are by a long shot the two funniest anime I've ever seen, and the manga are very good also, but they're not quite as over-the-top as the anime.

The above are all seinen comedy, I guess, except Cromartie, which isn't even so much shounen as it is pure retard comedy. I guess the fact that I dig Cromartie explains why I can't even see Yotsubato! in this discussion --- it's an excellent manga; but funny? Gentle amusement, more like it. The gorilla working in a sushi place --- now that's funny.

I don't really find many manga labeled as "comedy" to be that funny.. maybe a lot of the humor doesn't translate well or something.

But I really like Azumanga Daioh and, like a lot of others have said, Yotsubato!. They're both pretty cute, and funny in a way I haven't encountered in another manga.
