Tea and Sugar?

There's not always milk in tea. Actually it's like sugar, you add it only if you like it.
With or without milk, I hate tea either ways. I assumed most people added milk to their tea...
I'm more of an iced tea or green tea person though.

chai tea latte... that requires sugar... can you drink chai without it? It's hard!
I like straight chai. It has such a nice flavour on it's own ^^
I tried straight chai once and I couldn't do it... Maybe I tried the wrong brand...

Never ever any sugar in my tea, or my coffee for that matter.
Even when I was a youngster and the tea was strong, I never added sugar. I just added more milk and as and I've gotten older, I've been decreasing the amount of milk I add. I'm glad I never got into the habit of adding sugar and just added more milk instead. Personally I think it ruins the taste when sugar is added.
I drink a hell of a lot of tea in a day. I can reach 20 cups if I'm not careful, and if I take my tea with sugar? Not good for me. (not that drinking 20 cups of tea is good for me in the first place 🤣 )
you....no sugar....NO SUGAR!?! People who don't have sugar in their tea or cofee are totally bizarre to me. YOU ARE TOTALLY BIZARRE. You remind me of the guy at my work place who had a Hot Cup of water. I shit you not. Hot water, i asked him the question about 5 times just to confirm....perhaps he just has no taste buds and heat is his new source of sensation 😕
tea with no sugar has a very, very, very mild taste. Its almost like hot water.
I'm betting your talking about all these health benefits but you then go out and buy a candy bar or you wash the tea down with a chocalate muffine ( which i assure has alot of sugar).
Bizarre people!

I believe in letting people do as they wish, as do I myself. Sometimes, of course, what I wish to do is kill them and they do not wish to die. This gives life interest.

I use 1 packet (6-10grams of sugar, depending on where you got it from) in a glass of Iced Tea, unless it's really small.
Otherwise, I don't use sugar; I use honey. It departs a nice sweet flavor to the tea without overpowering that special tea taste like sugar does. For that, I just use enough to cover the bottom of the glass in a thin film (that way there is always the perfect tea to honey ratio no matter what size the cup is), so it doesn't overpower the tea.

I only drink Asian teas so yeah, absolutely nothing in it. I cringe sometimes when I see people try to put milk & sugar in green tea, haha.
I only put enough to take the bitter edge off so it goes down nice and smooth, oddly enough baking soda works too, I use both in my sweet tea :3
cream only goes in my coffee as i find it ghastly without it usually.
honey is nice if i have one that matches the tea.

🤣
Who said anything about health benefits? I consume so much caffeine in one day there's no way I'm being healthy XD The fact that I don't add sugar just means it's slightly better because I'd be ridiculously unhealthy if I did due to the fact I drink so much tea and coffee in one day. That's a fuck load of sugar to be consuming. Add that on top of the sugary desert I usually buy during my break at Uni with my Coffee? 🤣
I don't add sugar to my tea or coffee because I don't want it sweet. If I want a sweet drink I'll go buy/make a hot chocolate.
Each to their own tastes. You say it's mild, I say you're wrong. I like mine strong though, so maybe that's why I disagree.
I know what you mean by mild though. If you don't let it brew enough it really does taste like hot water.

Sometimes I'll use a teaspoon of sugar, and sometimes I use nothing at all. It just depends on my mood, really. I drink all kinds of tea with and without sugar.

If it's not salty tea of course it needs sugar in it.
And if it's not Haitian tea it needs sugar and lemon. Any other way is just wrong.
