your right about it doesnt matter who he ends up with as long as its enjoyable but for me and probably many others similar as you read you gain familiarity with the characters

And once you do you start to think he would of been better off doing this or that even though its at the authors will D:
its the feeling you get when you watch a movie indepthly or read with a passionate you start to fall into the character's shoes and follow the lines

Well that was somewhat off topic but however yes its being a hypocrite but sempai was pretty wrong even though is ustumi goes for yuki it would create a similar atmosphere? one way to put it i guess.
However if you want to resemble it how sempai went for the older guy while if ustumi jumps to yuki its a vice versa situation

ustumi was the dumpee not the dumper that sounded so funny i had to laugh at it myself
the sempai had a choice to make she was getting along fine with utsumi and even new his feelings but still did what she did without even as a word he had to find out himself

thats like a situation where you have been getting along well with a girl and finally able to ask her out only to walk out preparing the next day to find her on the arms of some other guy and canceling your date

u make a very good points...i am one of those ppl who sometimes get into the manga...like if the guy does something stupid, im like wtf and stuff like tht...idk its weird but sometimes it pisses me off and so i so get into the manga or anime lol 😀

You'd be surprised at how much you can pick up even though you can't read the language.

You miss the fine details but you'd get the overall jist.
I do that for Freezing. I actually get what's happening, even though it's all in japanese XD But it does helps when the scans come out because it adds more to the story, so I'm like "oooooh. So THAT'S why that happened! Now I know why she reacted like that!" etc 🤣

But..... man i'm still confused how Shou saying in Chpt 12 "What if we start dating/dreaming" or my heart races alittle and i see him as a man now or her touching him saying dont be nervous everythings ok 1pm is fine for our date then BAM lets ditch this bum for my " dream man" first love of the past the very NEXT day.

How can a woman like 1 guy or start to then ditch him the very next day for a old flame? And a guy who is probly just "using" her since he just got dumped himself... sounds too convient for me i would say. I guess i am one of the few in the minority who would like to see Shou and Utsumi together, Yuki sounds too complicted for my tastes. Nothing against her just she probly perfer a more "mature/refined" person than Utsumi i think. Shou's and Utsumi's personality's match better in my opinion.

As for the hicky part i thought that was dis-tastefull and too sudden and whatever else the two have done? Just too quickly for Shou and new Beau to start making out after getting together a day or two earlier, I would of thought Shou would take things slowly since she just started going out with the guy.... makes you think the Mangaka's thoughts on Shou is she puts out for anyone at anytime to me. 🤢

Not even in real life did i ever date a gal who wanted to "do things" that quickly in the dating scene. 😀

I don't think I'm going to get into the habit of looking through the RAWs before translation, but I have a few theories as to why she jumped for her old crush and what might be the mark on her neck.

One theory, and keep in mind it's just a theory, is that her boyfriends ex-girlfriend did not cheat on him, but rather HE cheated on her. He could be sexually abusive too, and the hickey on Shou's neck was forced. But she, being too nice and having so much love for her sempai, will never admit to it.

Other theories include the hickey simply being a mark or normal bruise from some sort of accident (she is prone to falling over).

I think the Sempai is actually using her, but that is moist likely common knowledge now.

I also don't think that it's too early for that stuff to be happening, especially if the sempai is aggressive like he seems to be. It's not unusual for that stuff top start happen that early.

The hickey may have happened in the heat of the moment, but it doesn't necessarily mean that they had sex. You can give a girl a hickey without the follow through. Unless the RAWs show more, there is no proof that they had sex. I would say that there was a lot of heavy petting and heated kissing, but Shou cut it off as it started to go too far.

I'm just looking for the moment when Shou figures out what a douche bag the sempai really is and come crawling back. I wonder what Utsumi will do then.

Really relatable character though. I haven't enjoyed a story like this in a long and it's because of the main character being so real for me. I can't wait for the rest of the chapters.

I really love this tearjerker of a story. Like it's one heartbreak after another (you've all read 17, right? It's out right now).

So now we figure Yuki might like him, but of course he walks away not to hear that. This might end up as a story where he dates his second love, but can't get over his first love and when she comes back broken hearted, he dates her.

^I agree with you Bloodkay that is probably how the plot is going to go if Utsumi starts to date Yuki since that happens alot in harem styled romances. cough**Kimi no Iru Machi

I would hate for something like that to happen though since Shou would be doing the same thing the sempai did to her if she tries to like Utsumi again. Hopefully this won't happen though.
