Please read the previous posts before claiming that anyone went off topic... I didn't read old boy, and I'm certain that neither of you did. But according to the previous posters, there was an incest element in it. (which should be a spoiler by the way)

Yes. We were trying to make a big deal out of nothing. But you must know, I did read Old Boy, there was nothing that even indicate incest.....for crying out loud, none of the main characters are even blood related.

old boy spoiler ( at least in the movie, haven't read the manga )

after the guy is freed from jail after 15 years he starts a relationship with a young women who is later revealed to be his daughter. In the movie there is a very explicit scene of them having sex.

wow, is the manga and movie that different? Could somebody second that there is no incest in the manga?

OK First of all. That is NOT his daughter. The movie director wants some twist. Nowhere in the manga does it indicate that the young woman was his daughter.

The only thing the manga revealed was that their love was fabricated by hypnosis.

Well, let me clarify. The argument was over whether cousins getting together was Incest or not. It is, no matter where you are from. The definition that was cited earlier mentioned that they couldn't be legally married for it to be considered incest. If they're of any familial relation, it is incest.

The fact that they can get married isn't valid to the argument put forth before.
