The last chapter (ch04) in Hotarubi no Mori E also deals with incest, it displays the feelings of a sister towards his brother. It's a beautiful and sad little oneshot.

And as much as i see no one mentioned Brothers (YAMAMOTO Kotetsuko); it's about two stepbrothers whose parents got remarried and died soon after they moved in together, later they fell in love (kinda)

The Hitachin brothers.........there is always an incest like relationship there........though it might be less often than i would enjoy.......^.^

Somebody mentioned parallel and I must say I second that. I think it would be interesting for your essay for it is a story about a boy and a girl who had a secret crush on each other and then find out that his dad and her mom are gonna marry.

You know I kind of wonder if there is a manga that follows the everyday interactions of an incestuous relationship. The awkwardness during family gatherings, not to mention how messed up it would be if they should actually pursue their relationship to having a kid.

I find incestuous relationship very interesting, since it isn't really like your typical shoujo romance. It'll be very cool if there was a manga that really went that far (especially up to thinking of having children). But, of course I hope I'm wrong and there is one out there.

wooow how come i never thought of that, all the incest i've read up till now focused on the relationship between them only, i haven't read one with them having children...it would be awesome if there was one 😃

yea, you get half of your dna markers and what not from each parent. so the closer that your parents are genetically the better chance you have of a repeat. not the most technical description, but hey

i understand you get genes from both parents, but that dosesnt explain why an incest baby has a higher chance of being abnormal 😕
