I read a yaoi once... it took me a while to realize that it was 2 guys instead of a guy and a girl. Very disturbing and now I stay away from it.

Eh... Talking hentai/porn wise. For mangas and animes, I stay away from both. Smut wise, het is for me.

I never got the incest thing. I read them but typically I just imagine those kind of hentai as filled with porno actors. Too tough to form that kind of mental shield with rape and guro though.

In terms of Yaio, I avoid it like the plague after I learned what the term meant while looking for hentai on Japanese image boards so very long ago. The only exception is if the hentai is normally straight or yuri. Though I could do without graphic depictions, it amuses me to no end to read about some bastard rapist getting karmic anal retribution.
