At first it stared in shock at my friend's sister then hissed and ran after her clawing and biting................

I know it's probably a bit weird to be quoting such an old post, but was her grandmother Wiccan? That's a Wiccan purifying ritual.

Ummm...no. Actually I have no real idea. They're Chinese and agnostic...well the grandfather is Christian. It's probably a traditional thing rooted from Taoist beliefs.

well...it is a chinese superstition. whenever we go to the cemetery we have to hang out somewhere, anywhere for a few hours before going home because a ghost bringing bad luck will follow us. therefore, where we go after going to the cemetery is where we're bringing the ghost. so hanging out somewhere public will bring the ghost there and leave it there. but the ghost will not stay long in a public area unlike a house.

P.S. not sure if ghosts is the right term since we just refer to it as 'something dirty'

hi. i too have a story. but many of my friends didn't believe me coz they said there's no mummies in malaysia.duh.

when i was 6, i came home late, well at sunset and it's already azan(call for prayers for muslim. ppl said at that time satan and the likes start roaming and sometimes take children to another dimension where he/she can see ppl but ppl can't see him. he/she can't talk or run.

when i came home, my house is on the end of the block, and next to my house is a really old fence and a small forest on the other side.
when i reached my house, there's somebody trying to knock over the fence from the other side so i yell at it. i cursed it, call it names(ya know, i'm still a kid that time) and i saw something looks like a head(bandaged). i threw a rock at it and it sounds like rock met stone walls. ya know the sound when you threw a rock at a stone wall. when i threw the rock, it shows it's head. it was bandaged like a mummy, with fist sized red eye staring right at me. i ran straight into the house and never set foot into the forest ever again, and never came home late untill i grew up.

and have you ever felt like there's somebody else besides you when you're in the dark?
well, i have.
when ever there's a blackout, i live alone so there's nobody around. when there's a blackout, i felt like there is about 5-6 other ppl around me and sometimes, i felt like somebody touched my shoulders. like asking me to turn around. i freaked out, close my eyes shut, and assume turttle position(i curled around and protect my frontal body and head) untill the lights are back on.

when i consult with imam(those who have high knowledge about muslim and lead ppl while praying), he said that i probably have something that the spirits sees in me. that they are probably looking for help but i always got freaked out. can't it just come to me in daylight? why must the dark?

perhaps i can be like ichigo. lol.
but i assure you that the story above is real. 100% true.

when you refers to spirits 'something dirty', it's not. well maybe some of 'em.
imam told me that there are evil spirits, died in sin and turn to a restless spirits that tormenting the living and sometimes tried to make the living join him/her(kill them).
and there's a good ol' spirit which died and stuck in this world because want to see something or taking care of 'business' before leaving. those are the kind that always seeks for help. but i gor freaked out when they came around me. i got goosebumbs, weird chill, and a tap on my shoulder like asking me to turn around.
i wonder if the good spirits will be a bad spirits coz i don't help them. lol

My friend's family doesn't "believe" in ghosts or spirits so they just refer to "it"
as "something dirty". They refuse to say the g or s word. 😛

well, that figures. whenever this 'thing' followed us, our surrounding tend to go awry. so many called them bad, dirty, or the scientific phrase like entity.

once, one of these followed me, coz i take a leak in the bushes(come on, there's no public toilet around) it's kinda where they(bad ones) make it their home, i my cat(all 30 of 'em) ran amok. one even tried to break the tv.

ppl said that animal can see these thing, so my cats amok has something to do with 'them' following me.

oh yeah, you guys will never believe me on this, but
there's one of this 'thing', stayed at my apartment for awhile. he(i think) even help taking care of my cat.
one day, i forgot to feed them, somehow, their food bowl filled with cat food.
when i'm in the toilet, it's time for my cat to play outside, the door(locked) opens and when my cats is out, it close back. unless my cat figured how to take their food into the bowl and how to unlocked, open the doors, there's no explaination for it. but he's gone now. man, i could really use a ghost servent right now. my apartment is messy as hell. lol

I have a ghost in my apartment. It hasn't bothered me lately siince my last Room mates moved out.

I have lived there for about 4 years and it has always been there with us. It made itself known for the first few years it was there because I think it didn't like my ex-girlfriend. It only was visible to me and my sister because we both get sleep paralysis. Whenever we would go into sleep paralysis, we could see it walking up and down the hallway at night, it would often stop and look into my room. Sometimes we would see several shadows in the hall and sometimes we would only see one.

Once I broke up with my ex it went away for a while, but then came back when i got 2 new room mates. We are pretty sure it didn't like the room mates because as soon as they moved in my sister told them about it. They imediately tried to bless th ehouse with weird Christian and Hindu rituals to exercise the ghost. I think it only made the ghost mad cuz everyone in the house started gettting sleep paralysis every night and stuff would always fall off shelves and we would hear loud banging in the hallway in the middle of the night.

Once they moved out a few months ago, everything has been quiet and nice for me.

Life is tough......but it's tougher if you're stupid.

Well, I've had tons of supernatural experiences, but this hurt the most so . . .
When i was little my brother, mom, and i were in the car. And my brother started to hit me, so i hit him back and then we started a war in the back seat. Our mom kept yelling at us to stop, but we wouldn't stop.
Somehow i managed to grab my brothers hands... and out of no where, i get slapped. 😲 I asumed it was my brother and when i turned to look at him, he was laughing at me. Turns out no one had touched me and i was sure someone did, because my cheek was really pinkish all day. For about a week, my brother teased me about it, but it really scared me. 😃

Yikes!!! That is totally scary!

A few months ago the ghost in my apt played a trick on me. While I was asleep on the couch I drifted into sleep paralysis and noticed the shadow standing in the corner of the room in front of me. so as I strained to see it, I felt something grab me from behind and a scary voice yelled in my ear "Gotcha!!" I was so freaked out and when I woke up, my body was cold where the hands had been grabbing me. I was really scared for a few hours and had to go to the corner coffee shop for a while and chilll out.

Last week when I was at home I kept seeing myself everywhere.
My apartment has no mirrors and like, but I just kept seeing my own face
popping around everywhere, just like I would be watching into a mirror and
afterwards I did not know where I had seen my face. Then at night some days later
I could swear that there was someone next to me in my bed and I would know if
I had invited someone there.

Why are all the good threads so old?!

Anyway my story-
In my neighborhood park you see all kinds of weird stuff. There was this one time when a woman was talking on the phone and she was holding a baby carriage with a baby on it. Well apparently she forgot to put the breaks on and the next thing you know the carriage is strolling down the lane and she didn't notice. When she did it was too late because the baby had fallen over the railings that lead to a river. The next day authorities found the baby's body but it was too late to save her. A few days later the woman's body was discovered in her apartment apparently she had cut off her fingers, slit her wrist, and broken most of her bones.

In the park at night you can see (what looks like) ghostly fingers under the swings and broken bones all around the playground. A boy once went to his mother and showed her a real finger he had found under the swings. Creepy stuff.

another story-
Same park. There was this rumor in our neighborhood that some of the characters from Mortal Kombat were buried deep into the woods of the park. It is said that if you go halfway into the woods and say Mortal Kombat! (you know like in the song) the big guy with 4 arms suddenly appears. Or if you say Come over here! the scorpion dude comes out. So me and a group of kids said the latter, nothing happened. All you could see was a lot of smoke and something that smelled like blood. After a few minutes we returned to the playground and found 7 dead scorpions lying around. 🤢

Anyone heard of the Chupacabra? That's just plain creepy!

no, it's not that all the good threads are so old but all the good threads have been made in the past so new post makers have to make 2nd best threads. Also we have a lot more spammers here than ever so....yeah.....we get a lot of trash threads too.

Well I do not know if this counts as paranormal activity, but when I was in my house one dark, dreary night. The lights started to flicker on and off. Then everything became deathly quiet except for the noise of the flickering bulb. As I walked closer to check it out I started to feel an ominous feeling, a presence of hostile intent. Almost as if someone were behind me. At that point I was scare out of my wits. My stomach had a clenching feeling, like someone reaching into me and grabbing my intestines. Of course, I ran to my room like there was no tomorrow. Must have been the game I played-- Dead Space+nighttime=fear of dark corners and weird noises.

Well that's it 😲

El Chupacabra is the only thing that really scares me. Anyone seen those images (the real ones) it looks half human/half something. Same with that fish that was discovered long ago, the one that had legs as fins. Creepy!
