Oooo, I hadn't heard either tale for cats and dogs.
I'll have to try looking between a cat's ears just for the heck of it. I think it depends on the cats how well they'll behave, and you could always look from the back of the head.
Here kitty, kitty ...
I'll have to snag Watson (1 of 8) the resident chubby orange cat, who occasionally spooks at nothing and likes being cuddled!

Meh, i dont think pictures can be fully trusted due to image editing software these days.
Anyways, here another of my stories. It was experienced by my sister's friend.
It was around the time when I was grade 6. My sister and her classmates had a project to do so they stayed at school till around the time when school closes for the day (twilight). When they were done, one of em had to go to the toilet. She went to the closest one was the first floor toilet. While she was in the cubicle, she heard the door open. Knowing that there wouldn't be anyone in school cept for her and her project mates, she called out to see who came in. No one answered. Then she heard the cubicle door next to her open. She called out again. No one answered. Frustrated, she looked down the gap at the bottom of the wall between the cubicles. What she saw was a head. It was a faceless and it "looked" straight at her(you can tell if the hair's at the back i guess). Freaked out, she quickly ran out of the cubicle. When she opened the cubicle door, the head was floating RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. It started spinning (heh, excorcist ripoff lol). The girl ran out of the toilet screaming.
The next day, still traumatized, they went to the school principle and told her what happened. The principle then told them: " Ah, you're not supposed to use that toilet. A few years ago someone died in there and its been known to be haunted"
There you go. You can choose to believe or not. But I don't think my sister coulve made it up since...well...she's a scaredy cat herself. It makes a good campfire ghost story though. Last time i told it at a campfire, the guys got scared to go to the toilets alone 😛

I absolutely love Ghost Hunt, but it scares the bejesus out of me too. I used to love scary stuff when I lived with my folks, but now that I live alone, I try to watch nothing harsher than pg 13. Ghost Hunt was a horrible exception and I had a really hard time with the shower for a while after...
Personal spook experience?
My older cousin persuaded me to go through with a night of Ouiji board complete with candles and strange insence, and then finished off with a Bloody Mary calling. Ouiji board wasn't that bad, since we were 4 girls all together. But calling mary was super scary in my folks's bathroom as the mirror went around on 3 sides, and you were all alone in the dark. I ran out of there so fast I didn't see anything but my own distorted reflection (was dizzy from the turning), but the pressure felt immense. Even now I am scared of mirrors, and can't be around one with the lights off. My bathroom light stays on until I am ready to sleep, and I don't go in there again until its daylight. I can just look at it and almost see some Sadako-like figure crawling out of the side for me. 😢
Oh, and about the cats- stop it please? They are normal cuddly creatures and nothing more. It kinda hurts to read about them in a spooky light cause I have a pet kitty (tabby) and I don't want to treat her badly because I end up scared of her. It was really hard to even look at her after I read Pet Semetary. It scared me bad. I can see other people getting freaked at their cuddlies and mistreating them too.. not so much mistreating as just ignoring or neglecting, but... its not good to spread rumors about the cuddlies.

Huh? All we've been saying is that they (cats and other animals) are more "sensitive" then humans. So you've read Pet Sematary but did you watch Cat's Eye? It's just known they are good detectors of the paranormal and nothing bad about that, in fact it makes them kinda like guardians (See my story in top post).
Back to ghosts....Have any of you tried tried playing with the Willard Library ghost cams? http://www.libraryghost.com/ Thought I saw something once but it was too blurry to make out.
Hmmm.. 😕 the cam is down right now...but there cam captures posted up and links to other cams.

Wow all of you're stories seem way spookier than what I experienced. Well about six years ago I lived in a house that was over one-hundred years old and I had some frightening experiences there, but at the time I was living in the house it didn't look that old because it was rebuilt several times. Everytime in the middle of the night or really early in the morning I would have to go to the bathroom and then I would hear a bunch of whispers coming from outside of the bathroom. I would open the door and go out and see no body there but darkness because I wouldn't turn on the hallway or kitchen lights. Also there was a time my cousins would come visit and we would play around the empty houses underneath our house, we lived in a duplex or whatever, we saw a full white old lay in the windows of the house. Another experience(s) was that the doorbell would ring by itself at the times of 5pm, 7pm, and 5am. Around those times it would ring.
My paranormal or weird experiences are that I would have many deja vu's and they'd all come true. I get deja vu's at least once a month. I had a deja vu that I was using the urinal at the school bathroom, that's how ridiculous some were. Another weird occurings is that I see the number 666 so very often in what I do. About that, what does the number 666 represent 😕 ? I see it so often I am getting afraid. 🙁

Haha... aww.. I really want a paranormal experience like you guys!
Or... at least experience ball lightning once. 😀
I think I would love to touch one of those things... just to say I've been struck by ball lightning. haha. 🙂 That'd be so cooool!
Just think, in maybe 50 years, we'll have the technology to recreate conditions to make ball lightning appear. 😀 That'd be super sweet.
Mmmm... this one time, I was freaked out because I thought there was something weird... I heard a sound much like carpet being ripped... so I thought like, a dead cat or rat or something was chewing up carpet or something in my room.
It was pitch black... and I was like OMG.. so I turned on the lights...and I saw... nothing!
Haha... after a few minutes of freaking out, I finally figured out that it was my alarm clock radio on... that was at a really low volume. XD;; the static was what I heard...

o.O....never heard of that, but I've heard of chinese beliefs where if you put tears of a dog in your own eyes, you can see ghosts/spirits.
It's uh, actually tear of cows or ox...I think.
My experience came from this really old looking motel while I was traveling once. I was around 12 or so. When we got our room, we looked around and saw that there were paintings on the wall that were placed just above the beds. Though the weird thing is that there's a golden piece of paper in the middle bottom of one painting, and a silver piece of paper on the other middle-bottom of the painting. Also, you can tell that the painting wasn't there before because the light switch was behind one of the painting so it seemed that it was diliberately placed there.
Then the weird thing comes when this happens. Since it was pretty warm outside (even though it was already autumn), me, my brother and some friends (they were all older than me) decided to go out for a swim at the outdoor pool. We were swimming and then my brother went to swim at the deeper end with our friends and I was left alone in the shallow end because I wasn't quite good at swimming yet. While they were at the deeper end, I swam around by myself and then suddenly, it felt as if there was a current and pulled me to the deeper end. Then my goggles suddenly snapped from the buckle and was drifted off. So I was nearly drowning and while I was, I thought I saw a silhouette of a person standing over the edge of the pool. I can't remember what he/she wearing, but whatever or whoever it was, had long hair, like near the waist or so. Then one of our friend came and held me up, and put me back on the shallow end. That's not all though.
At night, before we went to bed. Everyone of us could've sweared that we heard whispering noises. It wasn't like whispering in your ear kind, bur rather it was like noises was muffled up by the wall in the next room or something. My dad also said the whole night long he felt as if someone was walking back and forth at the end of his bed.
On a totally unrelated note, apparently some chinese believes say that after a person die. After 7 days their spirit will come back or something.

Very rare occurrences and also one of the origins for the "alien invasion phenomenon". Anyways, you wouldn't wanna touch one...unless you have a death wish, or at least lose you hand >_>
When I moved into my house about ten years ago, I had my bedroom arranged a certain way for the first couple years. Everything was ok.
The first night after I moved my bed underneeth my window, a black cat jumped at my face as I was getting into my bed. I yelled very loudly, and and had to explain to others.
I slept very little that night, and rearranged my room the next day (It is still arranged the way I had it originally back then). Later on, I noticed that no matter what was on top of my TV (Over the years that has included various games and movies, a Gamecube, a Xbox, and currently a RCA cable switch box), the shadow given off onto the wall would be that of a Cat sitting, or sometimes lying down.
This is my ghost cat. I've nick named it Kuro (I say it, because the only time I have ever fully and clearly seen it was when it jumped at me, so I am not sure if it was male or female, but I do know it was black, and had dimly green glowing eyes), and it has appeared at other times, however, its usally at night. It has slept on top of my TV for about eight years now.
I believe it scared me on purpose, because I put my bed above where it died, or where it was buried. Sleeping on such ground, or above such ground, is considered very disrespectful to the dead, so I understood why it jumped at me.
I've seen it a few times during the day, aswell. But only when I shower, and look through the glass (Which blurs everything on the other side), I could see it walking torwads the sliding shower doors. When I opened them it was gone.
Sometimes when I am in the kitchen at night making a snack, I can see it run around, out of the corner of my eyes. I think the cat's taken a liking to me, because not only am I a cat person, but I because I moved my bed immediatly. I am not the only one who has seen it. My best friend has, aswell as one of my cousins.
The only other spirit I have seen here, was this one time I opened my door, and a woman in her mid twenties to early thirties wearing a lovely white dress walked by. I asked her who she was, and she vanished.
If my theory is right, this may have been the cats previous owner. However, I havn't seen her again, since that one time. That was about five years ago.
I havn't done any research about this house or the land its on, yet, as I am not really concerned with it.
I believe in spirits and ghosts. I also believe that I have survived various near death experiences due to the fact that my Mother's spirit is watching over me. She died from giving birth to me. She was told she wouldn't survive, and still gave birth to me, so, I am sure she wants me to stay alive. I believe she saved me from almost getting hit by a car, when I was crossing a road. I felt that I had gotten pushed out of the way, onto the sidewalk.
One other time, I was playing in the Ocean, and a wave hit hard, and swept me off my feet, and drug me into the Ocean. I opened my eyes, and could see the water, but I wasn't feeling it. I felt like I was drug or pushed back onto land. The oddest thing about this was, when I got back, my hair was only dampened, not fully wet. I was in the Ocean, my hair should have been soaked.
Those are the only stories I really have.

WoW Kaioh...a wealth of experiences you have 😲
Okay another one from me.....
This time it's a cousin who told me this.
** Leave Me Alone!!! **
Years ago my cousin's uncle went to visit a relative and slept over at their place.
the relatives gave him a room in the basement. The bed was next to a wall mirror. That night when he went to sleep, everything seemed normal. However, later that night he woke up feeling something sitting on his legs and found out he couldn't move. It was dark and he couldn't see. (Good for him...) Whatever that was sitting atop of him started crawling closer and closer to his face but just as it was below his neck, it dissipated. He jumped outta bed and switched on the lights but saw nothing. Creeped out he spent the rest of the night upstairs on the couch.
The next night he convinced himself it was bad dream and to calm down and give the basement room another try.
It happened again.
This time however he fought with all his might to move and got up. He looked into the mirror and saw not his own face but a ** menacing glowing green face ** in place of his own. Instead of feeling scared he got angry and screamed on top of his lungs "LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!". With that the face vanished and everything was normal again. Nothing bothered him the rest of the night.
So waddaya think?

Heres another one...
This happened to my dad.
About a year after we moved to Australia, my dad was diagnosed with pneumonia and had to be hospitalized. One night, he felt someone shaking him, calling him, telling him to wake up and even turned on the lights, so my dad woke up to see who it was. Opening his eyes, what he saw in front of him was a man, dressed in Gothic clothes like they wore during Shakespeare's time. Not only that, the man was headless, or rather he held his head like a bike helmet. Seeing that my dad had woken up, he invited my dad to a conversation(i forgot what he/it said). My dad has seen many paranormal stuff during his days(there are stories of them, but maybe next time) and didn't really care about the thing in front of him. He said: "Go away, i wanna sleep" and the thing disappeared. A while later, a patrolling nurse came and found that my dad wasn't asleep. "Why aren't you asleep" she asked. My dad only replied with "Some headless guy woke me up and wanted to talk with me" which the the nurse responded with a "Oh, him". !!!!! O_O
This could explain why there are night shift nurses, besides the whole thing about being tired after working the whole day of course.
There you go, a hospital story. Hospitals, they're always nice and calm during the day...but freeeeeaky during the night. I have another one about the time my older sister was admitted to the hospital, but lets save that for another time 😛 .
