Na... not anymore, she upgraded her curse to a DVD now. (Not much people uses tapes anymore so it was only natural)
And I hear she's planning a Blue-ray disk release soon enough. With higher quality images and a more effective curse. Now you will only have 48 hours before the effects kick in.

Haha.. you guys are funny.
Most of the scary stories that I know are from what others tell me. I do have a few experiences with the supernatural. I feel that it should be a lot more, but I probably think they're too traumatic that I have blocked them out of my mind already. Most of what I know are from other people. I think I'll start with the funnier ones that I know. I know these stories should be scary but the way I think about it, it's more funny than scary.
This one was 5 or so years ago. My parents usually have me sleep in their bedroom when they're not at home, so my guardians are usually the ones who sleep in my sister's and in my bedrooms. So I was sleeping in my parent's bedroom and my 2 aunts slept in the other bedrooms. Now, My sister's and my bedrooms are just next to each other, with the the bathroom in between. So the doors are just across each other. So it was dark and everyones' asleep. My aunt who was sleeping in my bedroom suddenly hears scratching noises outside the window. Her bed was next to it. She decided it was nothing but then she heard someone... "pss-t"ing her. It was repeated several times. She was already scared at that time. She told me later that she was thinking of getting up and opening the light but she was too scared to move. She said she decided to pretend not to hear. And then, she heard 3 distinct knocks on the window, about 3-5 seconds apart from each knock. And then, she heard someone slowly said in a low voice... "Coooonnnieee". That was it. She took her pillow and blanket and quickly crawled towards the other bedroom where my other aunt was sleeping. I swear, she said she crawled! We were laughing instead of being freaked out the next day when she told us the story. My Aunt Nita (the one sleeping the other bedroom) told me she was so surprised to see Aunt Connie crawling towards her. She said she would have screamed if she couldn't have seen clearly who was crawling towards her. My Aunt Connie just slept beside her without telling Aunt Nita why.
BTW, I started reading this thread at midnight, with lights out a few days ago. D***it Scyon, your stories are too scary. Lol but I want to hear more. (But I think I'll read it when there's light outside and when I'm not alone in the house)

The whole cursed tape thing just reminded me if you do receive a call telling you "You have seven days." It's possible it's just my dumb ass cousin making his routine crank calls. I swear some of those calls he made just ain't right.

😀 Thanks...but you know, in a way, they're also bad for me. My imagination's so good that if I start thinking about it, I get SUUPAAAH paranoid.
Speakin of ghost stories of people going to sleep, heres a few.
This one was experienced by my friend from work. It happened in Malaysia.
Before anything, I'll need to explain his bedroom. I've never been there but from his description, it sounded like an average sized room and his bed was about 4-5 meters from the door. Behind his bed he had a cupboard...those ones with magnetic doors. One night, when my friend was going to sleep, one of the doors opened (as he heard it clicked), he thought it was weird and just passed it as the door becoming loose. Then he heard it close and started to get suspicious. It then started opening and closing every 5-8 secs. He put his pillow of his face, trying to block out the sound but it was futile. Then, he summoned enough courage and asked(i forgot what exactly but its something like this):
If you're not a ghost, click(open/close) twice
2 clicks
If you're not human, click twice
2 clicks (i LOL'ed at this 😛 )
That answer's enough for anyone i think, and he ran out with his room with his pillow behind his head so he doesn't see what's behind.
This one was experienced by my aunt back in Singapore.
It happened/used to happen(I'll explain) before i was born. My mom and aunts were about 14 I think. They lived in at the Changi Prison quarters since my grandpa worked as a warden.
Just as an addition, sometimes at night, a march could be heard goin outside their rooms(outside the house of course) and if you looked out the window, nothing could be seen except the feet of Japanese soldiers
Back to the story 😛 .
As I was saying, before being rudely interrupted by my own memory 😛 , this happened/happens when my aunt was going to sleep.
At night, while sleeping, she could feel BIG hairy hands feeling her feet and legs (no, not up there you dirty people). She was always freaked out and just ignored it. After a few visits from this apparent ero thing, she mustered enough courage one night and opened her eyes. What she saw at the end of her bed....
was Ronald McDonnald! ZOMFGWTFBBQ!
nah, just kiddin.
Anyways, what she actually saw at the end of her bed was thing big dark thing with HUGE red eyes. It was looking STRAIGHT at her! I think she was pissed off or something but she poked those eyes and it never came back.

....This reminded me of what happened to me 2 yrs ago. I was sleeping on my side when I woke up and found out I couldn't move and it felt like someone or thing was lying behind me, spooning in fact. There was of a sensation of fingers poking into my ribs and it hurt. Being freaked I struggled to move with difficulty. As sudden as it was it was gone. I turned around to see nothing. I felt uncomfortable for the rest of the night.
As creepy as it was though I attributed it to sleep paralysis. I had similar experiences before but it was only the paralysis and not the whole sensation of something behind me and poking me. I figured it was due to my insomnia and working late on final papers.
And while I'm at this let me add in this late night Ouija board story for you guys. 😀
As told by a sister of a friend of a friend of a friend to my friend who in turn told it to me.........
** Good Bye? NO! I'm Not Done Yet! **
So way back when these kids had a birthday party. The B-day boy decided to play with a Ouija board he had gotten as a gift that day. Some he and his four friends went down to the basement to try it out.
Before I go on with the story I need to say that there are only two phones in the house. One is in the basement the other is on the main floor in the living room. Their parents are not there and neither is B-day boy's. (Unsupervised kid's party....what could go wrong?)
Okay back to the story. The kids played around asking random questions until one of them asked if there was a spirit around. The planchette moved to yes. They thought it was cool and all and kept asking it questions to which it replied to all. They finally got bored and told the spirit goodbye. The planchette however suddenly and forcefully moved to NO. Then it spelled out "Not Yet". The kids got freaked left the board and went upstairs. They were all in the living room and one decided to call her parents to pick her up. When she got the phone she noticed it was making the sound if a phone is off the hook. B-day boy and the girl went down to check on the other phone in the basement and discovered it off the hook. They felt kinda scared but placed it back on the holder and ran up stairs.
Upstairs, they tried calling their parents again only to find out the phone has the off hook signal again. This time they were genuinely sh** scared but the B-day kid and one of the braver kids went down to check on it anyways. ** Yup...it was off the holder again. ** They knocked down the Ouija board and ran upstairs where they huddled in the living room crying till the parents picked them up. The Ouija board was put away and never used again.

Lol Scyfon, those were funny. I would have screamed the bejessus out of everyone in the house if what happened to your aunt had happened to me. Ahh, I would not want anything to touch or poke me. If you're a ghost, show yourself to me (from a distance) and that'll be fine. Just give me some time and some distance to run away from you. Lol. Becoming paralyzed during or after sleeping, that also occurred to me but it's only when I had nightmares (those were weird and creepy too, I'll tell it later)
This happened to me when I was really small, around 6, I think. I only remember it cuz I thought it was so strange. I couldn't figure it out what it was.
Anyway, we were living in a family complex back then and my sister and I were playing with a cousin close to our age. We were children so we would play till our parents called out to us late at night. Well, it was about to go dark that day.. I guess you would call it "senja"? It was dusk. We were playing when I suddenly noticed a long, dark figure hanging from a tree branch. Back then I thought it was a huge, HUGE black bird that was hanging upside down. I didn't pay it any ming cuz I had no idea what it was. I remember my cousin telling me that it was weird. I think I said that we should just ignore it but we also decided to end our playtime that day and went home. Right now, I would describe that as a vampire upside down, not in it's bat-form. Now, I think that we've made the right decision. 🤢
That tree was cut down soon afterward but I think they decided to cut it because we (my cousins, my sister and I) were playing "market" in it. That tree was huge and we would play on the branches that was near the top.

O_O......lucky! Wow....was it already that dark that you couldn't see it properly? So it was ALL black, no eyes or anything? I would've at least wave my arms like crazy or something (to see if its an animal...to scare it away?)

My memory is kinda blurry. It was dusk so there are still some light enough to see it. And the only thing I remember clearly were my thoughts. I really did thought that it was just a huge freaking bird. And yes, it was black. I did not stare at it but I remember it was all black. I'm a scaredy cat so I wouldn't have the courage to stare at something like that. I only glimpsed at it once or twice. Even though I wasn't scared enough to scream and run away at that time, I was still a bit alarmed by it. At least enough to hesitate approaching it. Besides, it was just a few feet away from us.

There's an old saying that if a fairy took fancy on you, s/he will take you to their kingdom (usually going through a door in a tree) and will give you food to eat. If you've eaten any, you'll forget everything and stay in their kingdom forever. Maybe those human-shaped bumps were the people who remembered in some way or another who they were and tried to escape. 😲

You know that if it was a thief, he would still have done the 2 clicks and all just to scare the kid away, and assure himself an easy escape...
It could also have been anyone playing a prank wanting to scare the guy. They would of course have done the same thing to scare him. Surest way to make sure if everything is normal in that situation is probably just to grab the nearest broom, yell "show your self" and charge with the broom in hand. (well any other tool could work, but if you're close to the kitchen I suggest taking the cleaver instead)
@CharmingJunkies, if I ever met something that I had doubts it could have been a vampire, you can be sure I would have charged on the creature and try to grab a bite at it's neck. Nothing can beat become an immortal superpowered night freak imo. Well I'll either become one, or die trying, but it's worth the gamble lol.
Oh and just to say, no one noticed that the number of reported "paranormal" sightings is huge, while the number of reported "paranormal" deaths, disappearance or even scratches is minimal?
So I can come to only one conclusion, even if those weird creatures and phenomenons occur, It doesn't automatically mean that they want to harm us. They might be just having fun scarring us, or trying to communicate or could just not exist. In either cases, there's nothing to be afraid of in the end right?
P.S. sorry for being a rationalist and a kill-joy my friends always complain about that too lol.

It couldn't have been a prank as the cupboard isn't big enough to fit a person inside nor is it possible to stand beside it(its also behind the bed) unnoticed.
And I believe that its true that they can't kill us. Only humans are capable of intentionally kill a human(wild animals aside) 😃

I suppose supernatural entities like "real creatures" are territorial. They'll avoid confrontation unless they need to and will try to scare you off most of the time.
The whole "paranormal" deaths, disappearance, scratches seems to happen more with cases dealing with fairies then ghosts. That's probably because fairies aren't dead like ghosts so I suppose they would have more power over the living.

Speaking of scratches, theres a saying that you shouldn't sleep during senja/dusk. This would be one reason why...
One day, I fell asleep while watching TV during the afternoon. When I woke up, it was near night time and i had this HUGE scratch on my right sole. It was a clean cut, and it went so deep (around .5cm)
Another reason would be that you could get possessed while sleeping...which i would talk about another time.
