I usually watch the Screen Actors Guild Awards for like the first thirty minutes, and then I usually like fall asleep or something.
But I do tend to look it up the next day, I like to see who they pick. Anyone who can appreciate DDL is good in my book.

The Darwin Awards...oh wait, those don't show on TV. 🤣
No, I don't watch any awards shows, and didn't even when I could (we only get PBS here).
Haha yeah if the Darwin Awards were on TV then I would definitely watch them, but otherwise I don't watch award shows at all.

I watch bits of it while its on, and/or listen to it while i'm on computer. If not I usually just wake up the next morning and watch the news on it.

Used to when I was younger, but they don't interest me now.
I guess the only ones where I wanna see who wins are the Oscars and the Grammys.

No not really... I don't see why I have to SEE a person getting an award. Not exactly entertaining in my eyes.

shrugs I watch the Oscar sometimes, usually when there's nothing good on tv. But awards like MTV: Music Award is kinda gay. Some of the people who gets those award don't even deserve it, seeing how they massacre all that is good in the world of music. 🤢

There are only to 'major' entertainment awards that I pay attention to, nowadays.
Best Motion Picture
Best Album.
That's it.
And most of the time, those aren't even that great.

sigh. I'd like to say I don't watch, but as a big movie buff, I can't help but do. But mostly out of frustration than anything.
Well, talent-wise and quality-wise, awards don't mean anything. They're not a good indicator of what's good and what's bad. Remember when that terrible disappointment "Crash" won a few years ago? How about last year, when Ratatouille was the best-reviewed film of the year and yet it didn't even receive a nomination for best picture? And this year, when Wall-E received better reviews (judging from the ratings at rottentomatoes.com) than ANY of the films nominated for best picture in the Golden Globes (better than even Slumdog Millionaire, the one who eventually won) and yet it never even got nominated for best film.
These awards shows are overly biased against: a) animated films, b) happy/optimistic movies, c) actors playing non-depressing roles, and d) TV series with a cult following.
What awards mean, rather than quality, is it indicates what kind of movies we're gonna be seeing for the rest of the year, which actors get more job offers, which DVDs will sell more, and which movies and tv series people are gonna be talking about for the next 5 years.

I used to watch...a while back...but now I don't really watch it anymore...
It might be probably the part where it kinda gets so boring where how good and talented people/movie/songs aren't nominated while something that isn't, gets nomitated.
Kinda kills the mood to even go on watching xD 😛

Nope. I rarely watch actual TV. And when I do, it's only because there's a game on. I'm more of a movie person.

MTV Movie Awards, Golden Globes, Oscars...anything really, as long as it's on TV, I just get drawn to them ._.
