We've been packing some things lately and I have a lot of collections, mostly because when I was younger, I wanted every variations of something. Just a few days ago I was looking at something I had and thinking I needed to get the others in the set. Collecting random things is a bad habit of mine and what I collect varies - I can have every scent of febreze or every matching pillow for a bed set. If something goes with something I already have, I need it.

To move on, though, I want to know what you collect. (And I'm well aware that you probably collect manga and anime, thank you.)

Only half joking, I never really planned to have 7 but we do and it's a lot for the size of house we have (and they're all indoors all the time).

I don't really have any semi-obsessive collections any more, most of it is more like accumulations.

I have a lot of yarn because sometimes I like to knit, and a lot of fabric because sometimes I like to sew, and a lot of cross-stitch stuff because I like to do that too, so I'll buy the stuff when I see something I really like (esp. if it's a really good deal) even if I don't know what I'll make out of it or when I'll use it.

I don't have as many books as I used to, because over the years I've managed to get into the habit of only keeping the ones I think I'll really want to re-read (same for manga - quite a bit of what I buy gets traded back in after I've read it).

There's a ton of baby stuff out in the garage because I'm a foster home & never know what I might need, but again it's not really a collection so much as an accumulation that "might be useful someday". 😃

i use to collect toys of all sorts, as long as they looked cool to me...

If that counts as collecting.

But i do try to collect resident evil things.

It fails, from lack of funds, but i try!

Beside mangas and animes (what else 😛 ) I collect books, vinyls, makeup (really a Mac-junkie), and.... plastic spoons. 🙂

I collect coins on the floor ._.

My friends always laugh at me when I stop to pick coins up and I don't really get why. I don't care if it's 5 cents or 10 cents - I'll still pick it up! I keep telling them that one day, the five cents collected would add up to a lot of money...and yet they still laugh at me...and throw one on the floor only to laugh at me picking it up =_=;;

The other day I counted last year's pickings, and it was over $2! O_O

they're just so cute, and spread all around the house, haven't got much, but I'm working on it. I got a horror duck and a "Proud to be Duck" and a Con'duck'tor and one with sunglasses on, I love them all! XD
I used to collect stamps, and then stickers, and then Mini Little Apple Dolls. My friend had one, I missed her so when I saw it, I had to get it! XD

And NOTEBOOKS too! Whenever I go near a shop I have a sudden desire to but notebooks, I have soo many, it's ridiculus, at the end of my schol year I had 7 in my bag, and 3 had about 2 pages worth of writing in it. I just don't want to use them, same with diaries. 🤢
Even if it's a cheap reporter's notepad worth 16p, I have to leave with a notepad.

but if I can afford it, Duckies come first. 😛

The last one I got was a dragon marionette from Busch Gardens. But someone offered to buy it for me, so of course I'm not going to turn down something free. : D
