Tea sets. I usually get them as gifts.

Lately, I've been buying coffee mugs from every single coffee shop I go to. I like that they have their own individual designs/logos.

When I was younger, I used to collect Barbie dolls in elaborate customs/gowns. They stayed in the box, and sat on display. I also collected stamps, baseball cards, and NHL hats. I wonder where all those are now.

I used to collect lots of things. I used to have about 40 barbie dolls at one time when I was younger. Collected those lighting yoyos, Yu-gi-Oh! cards, baseball cards, bracelets, and rings...

And the collection I am most proud of is my Furby collection! They're all gone now (after I donated them) but I had about 80 of them. O_O

Cars. I have a whole bag full of these toys cars from when I used to collect them in the younger years 🤣

Then there were those phases with the pokemon cards, and the sticker albums, and all the other crap that hooked little children into persuading their parents to buy for them 🤣

I don't collect as much as I use to. But I still have a habit of keeping my aluminum can tops.

Pokemon Cards - around 400. I stopped collecting at 2003-4.

I limited my self now because of money and time, to mangas and books I find at my local discount book store. I also buy a couple lucky brand hoodies a year. But I've been paying a lot of mangas this past year because of coupons at borders and discount stores. 😀

When I was little I collected rocks & bottle caps, and I had 100+ of each, but then my sister threw them all away. >< She said they were dirty. (I had picked them up from the ground, mostly, so yeah... they were. I was 5, ok?) Stiilllll, she threw them away! I'm still mad at her for that, after all these years.. (I collect grudges, too, XD)

I guess you can also say I collect books (I have over 200 books), but thats more because I re-read my books (I've read every single book on my shelf 10+ times.. probably more.), so if I like a book I buy it. (If I have enough money on me. )

My grandfather had this big bag of old coins, so I just liked to mess around with them... Never actually collected any.
There were pretty old ones. 60-80 years old.
Not sure what happened to them...
My mother has most likely thrown them away.

Like the OP did, i too collected random goods. I collected novels too beside manga(s).
I collected jewelry, cosmetics, accessories, clothes, bags, shoes, etc. Not as crazy as before... then I moved to collect body lotions and tissues...
I also like to collected cute paper notes, cute pics, cute stickers, cute things, and so on.
I had also collected towels and bed covers.

Oh, I collect all sorts of things.
Hats, definitely. Can never have enough of those. Baseball caps, cowboy hats, bowlers, chulloes, fedoras... and many more. Have enough for everyday of the year.
And then I have a really bizarre collection. Which started a really long time ago for a reason I can't even remember. Though, it's not as though it's a true collection, just something I do everytime I'm on a road trip. And I'm pretty positive I'm probably the only person with a collection such as this. 🤣

I randomly collect Millennium quarters (Canadian).
This sucks at times cause if I only have Millenium quarters on me I refuse to use them - hence I'm losing money in a sense. I have quite a few, but a lot of them are doubles, triples etc. but I've stopped collecting, still don't use them if I can help it but not as obsessed as I used to be when I was younger.

"Collecting" was my hobby when I was little. I have so many remnants of collections of useless junk: stickers, keychains, Snapple bottle caps, stones, shells, fruit stickers, keys, buttons, postcards, pressed pennies, foreign currency, Superballs, oddly-shaped loofah sponges, and paper perfume samples in a rubber-sealed Mason jar, strange knee socks, gashapon figures, cloche hats, Susan B. Anthony coins, Beanie Babies, dolls.

I'm still loathe to part with some of them, but I'm more interested in collecting as little junk as possible now.

I had a rock collection, when i'd go outta state i'd collect alot of different stuff and it became pretty massive so it takes up a good section of my closet now.... it's a good dust collector....
