When I saw this poll, I went outside and literally started running around trying to act like a ninja. It is kind of hard though... I prefer running normally, I guess. 😀

Im talking about Ninjas from Naruto... running around and shouting and wearing colorfull clothes is all a part of it, no need for stealth! 😀

Normal running for me please XD

For normal everyday running, on wide ground, with no need to quickly use a weapon, normal running is superior in every way. When going steeply down hill, balance is improved by making an outward twist at the shoulder instead of forward back twist. When running on things like logs, the optimal balance is with the arms out. Putting the arms back does, however, allow for a more agile (but significantly slower) full sprint. The agility comes from the ability to shift your center of mass significantly by moving your arms. I dont know much about how real ninjas ran, or why, but I know a lot about biomechanics, so everything I said is based on biomechanical evidence, not historical.
