I've forbidden my self from running in any other way or form (besides quick movement of the legs and up & down motions of your arms to gain momentum) because the last time I tried...

I ended falling/knocking over a garbage can and earning a booboo. 😢

I guess the fact that I was spinning at the same time didn't help either. 😐

I do not know any ninjas to compare my running style with... are we referring to speed of the run of form? do ninjas run long distances? wait i dont run like a ninja but i can groucho walk

Never have, never will. But I have seen people doing it. Funny as hell. Once, I was walking down the road, and some guy ran like that out of an alley and across the street, screaming, and into the next alley. I stood there for a few seconds, completely dumbstruck. And then three more guys in bandanas ran out and did the same. I swear to god it actually happend, and yes, I nearly died laughing.

I used to run like that in elementary school. Sure I looked freakin' retarded but I have absolutely horrible endurance even when sprinting, so it helped to not have to pump my arms or move my torso at all when running so that I wouldn't tire too quickly.
