Stop removing harem tag.

Apparently anyone who does not agree with you is "derailing the thread." You're saying that the harem tag should not be removed. And we're saying that it was removed because there has been no real indication of it as of yet.
And lol omg yes, admitting physical attraction does not equate immediately or directly to love. Because you're attracted does not mean particularly you're serious (since I need to define it for you) I mean already planning marriage and the like (and so that you won't misconstrue my words again, I'm not saying that serious will only=marriage).

To sum things up / clear the garbage, baits et cetera:
Two definitions:
From wikipedia
"Harem, hāremumono (ハーレムもの?), broadly, is an ambiguously-defined subgenre of anime and manga characterized by a protagonist surrounded, usually amorously, by three or more members of the opposing sex and/or love interests"
From mangaupdates
A series involving one male character and many female characters (usually attracted to the male character). A Reverse Harem is when the genders are reversed.
Is there a male character? YES
Many female characters? YES
Are they attracted/interested in male character? YES
Case closed?

To point out again:
"Harem, ..., broadly, is an ambiguously-defined subgenre of anime and manga characterized by a protagonist surrounded, usually amorously, by three or more members of the opposing sex and/or love interests"
....
You seem not to understand your own definition. Surrounded implies that they are persistently with him, a part of his normal clique, or in his normal group. So far in the manga, the in 44 chapters, the main character has had about 3 interactions with the girl he knew from childhood (maybe 4?), 2 interactions with the teacher's daughter, and 2-3 interactions with the red hair girl. In fact, the girls don't even make frequent appearances in most chapters and tend to appear only when relevant. They do not help him train, and are not in his clique, THEREFORE he is not "surrounded" by them. At this point, it is more like they are recurring plot-related cameo characters.
Compare this to To-love-ru, nisekoi, or other typical harems where the main character interacts with these female characters in just about every chapter. His actions revolve around them and the plot revolves around his interaction with them. THIS is why the gamer is not a harem, and although the author implies or hints about romance/dating sim style (even harem style) plots in chapter 21's bonus 4-cut manwha, the author comedically squashes the romantic "conquest" between the MC and any girl. To quote: "This game's postponed until we have more girls..." which means even the AUTHOR knows there aren't enough girls surrounding the MC to be called a harem.
BTW, to quote you: "To add, there's rather weird perception of romance/affection among people. If someone isn't sticking her breasts in your face doesn't mean she isn't interested in you."
I could say the likewise to you. Just because you heal a girl, talk to her, or make a perverse comment towards her doesn't mean that girl is GOING to be interested in you and become a part of your harem. There is the friendzone (or anime friendzone) where any relation between the childhood friend and the MC would end up in, and the teacher's daughter who he healed him shows no sign or inkling of liking him despite being healed by him twice. If you're also going to try and attach that witch girl into his harem, your misconception of romance is even more strange.
I'm not saying this series can't be harem, it could easily become one, but at this point the entire manga's focus hasn't really been harem, or romantic in nature, rather it seems to be setting up the MC's skills and attributes for what hopefully will be a sequence of battles.

I just refuted your own definition, proved there is no romantic attachment between the teacher's daughter and the MC, and your misconception of "romance" and you simply "TLDR" it. So I will summarize it in a way an incompetent person can even understand.
Female appearances: spotty, not even most chapters.
Female interactions with MC: limited to several incidences.
Female romantic interest to MC: childhood friend teasingly might be interested, others show no signs.
Therefore:
Is there a male character? YES
Many female characters? No
Are they attracted/interested in male character? No

Just close this thread and remove the adding of harem until it actually becomes one, arguing with Akiradesu is pointless since he seems to refuse to listen to any opinions other then his which seems to be the only one to believe that it is a harem.

Stop the rant.
So you have been proven wrong overwhelmingly by multiple people, have nothing else to refute except stubbornly spewing the same things again, and making one-liner posts that make no contribution towards whether the gamer is harem or not.
I think this is case closed guys. Can we get a judge to weigh in?

Akiradesu,
Since lambchopsil is already leaning more towards the non harem side, and you keep repeating the same thing. (Along with saying stop ranting to those who are against you ...)
I think the best thing would be for you to find a quote from the author saying that The Gamer is a harem, or intended to be a harem later on. (or something along those line.)
If you can't find one from (I want to say a reliable source. Why does everyone quote wiki so much?) than it may be time to accept that the harem genre will not be added until it's more clearly noticeable as such.
(Or prove your point with new info/examples)
Yes yes, I know I make longwinded comments, but that's just me >.<
I should proof read my comments more, but I won't...
So keep in mind I'm filled with typos
