What manga or anime would you like to see become a live action movie & who would you like to see get the lead?

I was thinking the Inuyasha series would make a great live action movie even though they have done anime feature length films. I also think Matsujun would be good as the character Inuyasha. 🙂

XDDD you want HIM to be inuyasha?? seriously? XDD that's just joke.... his face doesn't suit the character.
Uwasa no midori kun. I don't mind any girl since it's hard to find a girl who can be cute and disguise as a boy.. even hana kimi's main character's face doesn't suit her role.

Inuyasha? No way, nobody on this earth has the buddget to turn inuyasha into a live action movie, it would be at least 100 hours long.
But really, i would love to see some nice slice of life stuff or slightly magical manga as a movie. Super Ninja battles and crazy futuristic visions are best left as pictures. For example, Blade of the Immortal as a movie would just be horribly bloody. Really really really really bloody, gorey, full of intestines.
I forward Genshiken, since i don't know any japanese movie actors i don't really have any preferences for a lead. It's sort of long for a movie, i guess the screenwritter would have to do some heavy cutting.

To tell you the truth, I would really like to see Monster or even Pluto (from the creator of 20th Century Boys) as a live action movie. I don't know who I'd like to see as the lead actor, but as long as they're good at acting.

I want FMA would be a live-action series, but maybe without "alchemy". Mainly about the Corrupted Military and trying to change it.

There was a time I would have agreed with you chueisha, but if you look at the variety of characters Matsujun has played...I've come to believe that he can play just about any role he wants to. 😀
I've thought that W-Juliet with Matsujun as Makoto would be quite entertaining, but though his looks would work for the role I think his voice would be a problem.

There is already a 20th Century boys live action movie out, they will make a trilogy.

Uhm Berserk 🙂
For the lead I regret to say i'd see fit Van Damme (for the face/muscular build), anyone can correct me with fitter leads anyway :3

I don't know much Japanese Actors/Actresses, so I can't answer the actor question D:
Skip Beat? That would be interesting to see how they make Kyoko's evil detectors or sensors or something 😀
Dengeki Daisy - "Go Bald Kurosaki!!!!" <3
Trinity Blood - It would be a good movie if it got a good director and writers...
