Anime Year 2008 (Warning: Lots of images to load)

Kohime Musou wasn't exactly yuri. It just had a lot of subtext, and a few lesbian characters. I'd actually put it on about the same level for yuri content as Ikki Tousen: Great Guardians, which was included.
Well, yeah, I didn't know that. Meh, mistakes happen; plus there are plenty of other series you can pick from.

I've only seen three animes from this list and one of them was an OVA. Kinda sad really...
I'll vote for Code Geass, since I enjoyed seeing it.
And even if you would have added any shounen-ai/yaoi/yuri to this list I doubt I would have voted for them.
Anyway, awesome work!
I can only imagine how much time this took. 🤢
And thanks because now instead of searching for the newer 'good' animes I can just look at this list. 🙂
i watched code geass, chaos head, tytania and kuroshitsuji.
code geass is the hands down best anime ever so i voted for it. tytania is currently my favorite ongoing anime that i am watching. i dropped kuroshitsuji after four episodes.
gotta say tytania is totally worth the watch.
im in the middle of re-watching blood+, but im gonna watch blade of the immortal next.
edit: after looking at the list, i realized that i watched so many others. i guess i thought they were not from 2008 or something
they were: soul eater, xxxholic kei, vampire knight, rosario vampire, one outs, linebarrels of iron (kurogane no linebarrel), gundam 00, to aru majutsu no index, nabari no ou, and casshern sins

Well... then my fav non=shounen ai/yoi anime of 2008 was Itazura na Kiss...
@Dr.Love - I'll ignore the "missy" part... And you should have stated it where you said you didn't include OVAs and stuff. Than I would've had the full info abput the situation and I wouldn't have asked such a unnecessary question. And actually I watched quite a lot of anime from 2008, but I couldn' help but liking those ones the most... u can't judge people's (perverted or not)tastes 😛

I was looking to see Junjo Romantica in the list, but I don't... not series 1 nor the 2nd .. because that was my fav, and I can't pick 🙁
No Yaoi/Shounen-ai in my poll, missy! 😛 Antique Bakery and Monochrome Factor are excluded for the same reason. Aren't there enough anime to choose from? I hope you don't watch anime solely for the Yaoi. You're missing out on a lot of good stuff! And yeah, I excluded the Yaoi and Yuri ones. Well, at least I think it was a Yuri one; called Koihime Musou. I haven't watched it, but that's what the series' page said.
Stop saying stuff like that.
Others could say the same to you, that you're missing out by not watching yaoi/yuri.
Anyways, you should have included all, or none of them.
After all, polls are supposed to be for everyone.
Good job on uploading and all, but really, there's no nead to be rude like that to BL lovers. :3

I don't have a favorite out of the list, since I've only watched few.
Michiko to Hatchin is nice though.
Made me an anime wish list out of those though. (some titles seem nice)
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

Aw. So you actually watched Junjou Romantica. And made it through the end of the episode, how nice. 😛
I voted for Gundam... it was a hard decision but I felt that Geass S2 was a little removed from the first season. Gundam stays consistant and I'm still curious about what's going to happen next.
(Not just mech ones.... I really liked Natsume, Kuroshitsuji and others --- the decision was hard between all of them)

Well, I haven't watched all of the series from 2008 but from the ones I've watched the 3 that stand out the most are definitely Kure-nai, Code Geass R2, and Nogizaka. I voted for Kure-nai because it was pure fun watching it and there wasn't a second where I felt they gave me filler. The animation was original looking and I didn't feel at all like I needed to guess ahead, it felt more like I should just go with the flow of the anime and it was simply most enjoyable to me.

2008 was on odd year, an awful lot of good shows to be put in one year.
Natsume Yuujinchou was surprisingly good.
Casshern Sins was one of the few this year that I would actually wait for the release.
Macross F and Gundam 00 were/are worthy of their predecessors.
Toradora was a mind blower.
Ultimately, though, I chose Casshern Sins.
(Hrm, I loved Kurozuka too, they fit ten volumes of manga into twelve 20 minute episodes and kept it interesting.)

Hyakko's the only anime I've seen from the list... Hm, saw some episodes of Kurenai (didn't like it at all, but it was better than the manga version)
Although I'll prolly watch Natsume Yuujinchou since it got licensed the scanlations were dropped T__T But for now, my vote goes to Hyakko~ It was pretty fun to watch.
