Wow, it all looks the same! 😐
I've only watched a bit of Kaiba, so I guess I'll go with that.

Kaiba was easily my favourate last year.

One Outs, Michiko to Hatchin and Kure-nai were all pretty good as well.

I still haven't seen Natsume Yuujin Chou, Aria or Mouryou no Hako.

Much as I love Nabari no Ou, Macross Frontier and Vampire Knight Code Geass beats all hands down. Nothing else had me sick with anticipation and on the edge of my seat quite as much, nor did anything else manage to throw me totally off with the plot development or have a character quite as interesting as Lelouch. Granted I haven't seen a lot of those listed but I doubt my decision would change even if I had, Code Geass! No competition really.

To Aru majustu no Index and Clannad After Story has to be the best, imo. But there were other animes that were great too. Zero no Tsukaima was great too, and the resurrection of Slayers and the promise for more still burn deep in my soul.
Akane Ior no Somaru Saka, Toradora Nogisaka Haruka no Himitsu, True Tears and H2O Footprints in the Sand filled the healthy romantic dosis I needed.
To-LOVE-Ru, Sekirei, Ikkitousen and Rosario+Vampire filled the always needed ecchi couta.
Of the anime I've seen World Destruction was by far one of the most unexpected. Great opening song (best of the year for me) and the story was quite original and Toppi Rocks.
Shikabame Hime was another surprise. One day before I heard about the anime I came across the manga and I have thought that is was quite interesting.
Code geass is one of the anime I couldn't see but I have planned to see it in no time.

I can't believe so many would vouch for the greatness of Code Geass R2... If it was the first season I would understand, but the second season was below-par compared to the first. It was more action-oriented (read: every episode there's a Strongest Mecha of the World). It was enjoyable (especially because of those crazy, unrealistic plot twists) but it isn't the best by far.

I've voted for Mouryou no Hako; yes, I'm that sole vote in the poll. It's the only series that managed to entertain/intrigue me for each episode. I haven't seen Kaiba yet, unfortunately.

Others could say the same to you, that you're missing out by not watching yaoi/yuri.

Well you could say that...
But you'd have a hard time proving it.

That because thats the only one people watched.

Choices, choices...so many 😕

For the sake being different, I'll pick One Outs. I quite enjoy it.

In anime, maybe.
But that's no reason picking up on yaoi fans.

How in hells name is that damn code gayass winning?!

Well...

Voted for Toradora.

But Michiko to Hatchin, Chaos;Head, Hantenkou Yuugi, and To Love-Ru(even tho its overly Ecchi) were all good as well.

Nabari no Ou Started off good, but lost my interest somehow...

And Kuroshitsuji....ick, to far from the manga... 🤢

Yeah that pretty much sums it up for me. I preferred season 1, but season 2 of Code Geass was better than the other animes I watched that were listed here.

Long way to go though.

I have so many favorite. Hard to choose between Spice and Wolf and Natsume Yuujinchou, Kuroshitsuji and Soul Eater, xxxHolic kei and Lelouch of the Rebelion R2! 🤢

Kure-nai. Too bad that the used potential of Kure-nai was about 20%...But I still had a hard time choosing. Toradora is quite amusing, too.

Too many good ones!!!

I put Toradora, as it's my current favorite, but R2 and Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu came close. There were also like 5 more that I can't be bothered to put down 😀

Code Geass pissed me off far too much to be my favorite
