The last book I actually read till finished was "World of Warcraft - cycle of hatred" which was great. It had a preview of "Starcraft GHOST - Nova" at the end...but I just can't find the book anywhere ;_;

Orson Scott Card and Isaac Asimov books are always a good choice, but I haven't read any of them lately.
However, I have read quite a gem a few months ago (well, twice) which was The Road by Cormac McCarthy (Oprah fans should know of it... I found out by a review in a newspaper.) A damned good book, dystopian and the like.
What else...
Well, I read the new R.A. Salvatore book a few weeks ago which was good, for you Forgotten Realms fans.

Book of the new sun, by Gene Wolfe.
sci-fi with a strong fantasy aftertaste, featuring a Torturers aprentice as the main character, interesting views on humanity, literature and lots of swordplay. also contains aliens, sex, cyborgs, homonculus and ghosts without even feeling slightly messy. also.
lot's of long words and a nice, old fashioned language.
sure, there are five books, and each several hundred pages long.
Read it, or be sent to that special hell for childmolesters and people who speak in theaters....

Hmm...here are some favorites:
-Jumper by Steven Gould - Quite a good one about teleporting.
-Ender's Game and series - I think I read somewhere that all Marines have to read this. If this is true, I wouldn't be surprised. This book/series is phenomenal.
-World War Z by Max Brooks - Awesome book, hands down. It feels like a true historical account, even though there is no such thing as zombies.
-A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby - It's good. The story has 4 viewpoints, in which 4 people meet at the top of a building all planning to kill themselves, but...Just read it, it's fun.
If you're really curious about reading, check out www.goodreads.com - It's simply THE site for discussing and keeping tally on books. If you register, you can make a list of the books you've read, are reading, are planning to read, etc...

Brisingr by Christopher Paolini. It's the 3rd part of the Inheritance cycle.
Fantasy serie about dragons, elves, dwarves, humans, evil king and ofc the fight for the whole world.
In harsh times, the strongest currency is cooperation.
George R.R Martin's series A Song of Ice and Fire. I really love his writing, even though he kills people to much ;'[.
Fantasyyyyy.

Is The Road that good?? Was thinking of reading that a while ago does it have anything to do with Fallout. When I mean by that does it have the same feeling?

Might as well throw in my two cents
Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn was a fantastic trilogy.
The Dark Tower Series, and the Talisman by Stephen King were both great reads though the sequel to the talisman wasn't as good.
The Name of the Wind book one of The Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss fantastic book. Even though Orson Scott Card compared it heavily to Harry Potter, its a whole lot better one of my favorite fantasy books ever.
The Obsidian Trilogy, as well as its sequel whose name eludes me at the moment, by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory were both entertaining reads.
Finally Snowcrash can't remember the author at the moment. I have not read it my self but my friends who have said it was hilarious.

I am currently reading 1984 by George Orwell.
I love it. It started the whole "Big Brother is watching you..."
It's a dystopic literature.
I was thinking about reading that or Brave New World but Huxley seems more interesting because he is on drugs.
Here's a link to Brave New World

It is a slightly less peachy, realistic "when the bombs drop, we're all fucked" type, unlike Fallout. I think it caters to a certain audience, so there is no guarantee that you'll like it, but you'll never know until you read it.
