Anything by Terry Brooks, and he has a ton of them. My most recent read though was A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin.

I read Yertle the Turtle by Dr. Seuss. I'm so proud of myself. I read this whole book by myself without any help. It is the best book ever! 😀

The Overachievers: The Secret Lives of Driven Kids by Alexandra Robbins
This book is pretty good. What makes it better is that it's about kids that went to my highschool and my sister actually knows some of those people. Pretty interesting book.

you should try the sequels too. Personally, the more i read that series, the more questions I have.
But in all seriousness, the only book I would recommand to a bunch of otaku[you guys] 🤣 is "Why do birds" by Damon Knight. It's an average sci fi book with a free things not so ordinary. A more logical version of the Hitchhicker

Try reading any book written by Christopher Moore!! His books are hilarious, and I've read just about all of them. 🤣
These are definitely laugh out loud books if you are looking for a good funny read. 😃

The last book I finished was Duma Key by Stephen King, which was better than some of his other works. I'm currently reading The Bourne Legacy by Eric Van Lustbader, haven't gotten very far though.
