well, feel like reading something, but don't know what, i've had pretty bad luck picking manga lately so hopefully someone else can find me something worth reading.....

my lists are public so that might help to figure out what i like or dont like

but as for as dislikesg go: anything gay, anything that gets too repetitive, anything with really bad art, uhh......mangas with annoying main characters, mangas with those whiny shoujo heroines, and uhh.....that should do it

anything else should be good: comedy, drama, sports, action, seinen, josei, shounen, shoujo, it doesn't matter really on the demographic/genre...

yeah, i like pretty much anything thats done right

but uhh HunterxHunter, i tryed the anime way back when...and wasn't really fond of it, but if you think i'd like the manga i could go ahead and try that

and Monster, i saw the anime, so is there a need for me to read the manga as well? any different?

Rough i can give a shot though....not fond of the this mangaka's art but if the story makes up for it, then it should be fine

I think Monster anime is very much like the manga.

You could try Mind Assassin. But I am not sure whether the English version is available. Also Drug-On, which I am trying, and the Embalmer, which I quite enjoy.

I personally think 7Seeds and Chicago are better than Basara, which I really can't get into. As to bad art, I don't like this author's drawing style. Hope you can tolerate it.

i suggest pumpkin scissors
it is like one of my all time favorite mangas, but only one chapter is scantlated. there are four english volumes available and are worth the ten bucks.
it is a military based story that seems to have a huge plot. im not far enough to understand how big but it definitely has potential

Mind Assassin looks pretty good, but yeah...not really much of it's been scanalated and it looks like it's been dropped, Drug-On's on my wish list, looks great too....same with embalmer, i'll make sure to try these

7seeds and Chicago, would kill me to read, cant stand this art......Basara as well, the art was too much, i couldn't handle reading it

@ Gorath - Gekkoh i've been meaning to read, but i was waiting for it to pick up again, i'd hate to start a manga knowing i'm not gonna finnish it,......spiral i'll give a shot, Tuxedo Gin's in the same boat as Gekkoh, and i'm already reading Until Death Do Us Part

@ Melon - 07 looks pretty interesting and i've been meaning to read it, but that cover looks pretty suspect, it's not shounen-ai or anything like that is it?.....Pandora Hearts looks good, i'll give this one a shot, Double arts i dropped, same with Ann Cassandra, Ookami looks good i'll give this a shot, Amatsuki's on hold list, but i could pick it back up again, AAA, not my kind of manga, same with Chii's Sweet Home, Yoki, Koto, Kiku doesn't really look our sound that interesting either, i can give Zetsubo sensei a shot though, and Ghost Only's on hiatus, so i'd rather not start something on hiatus..... and about Goth, why you say that? is it bad or something?

Goth is not bad, but not great either.

I think A Lollipop or a Bullet is better (it's labeled shoujo-ai but it's actually not. So don't let that put you off.).

Chicago is definitely worth a read. The characters are not drawn as ugly as those in 7Seeds. It's short too.

And you might want to try Luck Stealer. It's by the author of Mind Assassin.

And what about Mushishi? A few people I know rave about it though I am just starting to read it.

i'm reading "under the dapple shade" right now, and it's pretty good....

but uhh @ coffee.......cant read anything that aint being translated and as for Luck Stealer, it sounds pretty interesting have on it my wishlist, i'll try this one too, and Mushishi was great...well the anime atleast, i'll try the manga too if it's any different

and the anime is not muck like the manga. i watched it too.
yes i know that costs money, but it was the best 40 bucks i spent this year.
