J. K. Rowling, Eoin Colfer, Diane Duanne, Anne Rice, D. J. Machale, Brian Jacques... I like reading. 🙂
Try Darren Shan.
Ooh, thanks for the suggestion. I just looked at Wikipedia... lots of books.

ZombieKing ihas been challenged! Now it's between him, Blissful_wulf and Mamsmilk. And maybe Dr. Love.
J. K. Rowling, Eoin Colfer, and Darren Shan are like the British invasion. 😛

Oh, I really like that. Any other suggestions?
Primarily likes fantasy, thinks horror is overrated, romance is okay

I have Jane Austen's complete works, but I've only read Pride and Prejudice because my sister 'borrowed' it. I need to get it back.

Hmm... my favorite authors would probably be... Robert Crais and Robert Ludlum. (Why are they both named Robert? O_O)
I like Ludlum for the Bourne trilogy that he wrote. Those are my favorite books ever. And then Robert Crais has the most amazing characters ever, managing to make stories that are shocking, funny and sometimes really thought-provoking at the same time. And his characters are just so quirky. ^^
So many good authors, though. ^^

Hmm, I don't really have any favorite authors, just favorite books and series. I loved The Cricket in Time Square, Rats of NYMPH, and the Circle of Magic series. I also liked the Pendragon series and this one where the main characters took an oath in a book they find and receive magical powers. Brian Jacques' Castaways of the Flying Dutchman was really cool. I used to like Artemis Fowl, but the plot and the main character's cleverness went down-hill after the first book imo. As you can see, I like fantasy the most.

She's writing two other books (one for children, one for adults), but they aren't out yet.

Absolute all-time favorite authors are Mercedes Lackey and Terry Pratchett. I would list J.K. Rowling but the HP books are one continuous story and when I think favorite author, I think more than one story should make up that favorite part. Now, if we were listing books, I'd have a screenfull.
Four Things You Didn't Know About Me:
- I've sung Barbershop.
- I think ice cream and coffee are the best food inventions ever.
- I write fanfiction.
- I'm paranoid of moths.

Clive Barker ( awww, Imajica... 🙄 )
Tad Williams
Peter S. Beagle
Erich Maria Remarque
It's impossible to choose only one! It was already a pain to select those 4.

Edgar Allan Poe is my all-time favorite writer. I also love Neil Gaiman, Douglas Coupland, Matthew Pearl, Dante, Raymond Khoury, Glen Duncan, Kurt Vonnegut, etc.

The guy who wrote Da Vinci Code (Dan Brown, I think...) He included history! So well written =)
Yep, that's who he is. His other books are really good, though I will admit I wasn't too fond of Deception Point.
