J. K. Rowling, Eoin Colfer, Diane Duanne, Anne Rice, D. J. Machale, Brian Jacques... I like reading. 🙂

Try Darren Shan.

Ooh, thanks for the suggestion. I just looked at Wikipedia... lots of books.

It's also a manga, but don't read it to sub for the original books.

David Eddings Rules! Some of my favorite books are his. They are awesome! The Redemption of Athalus is my favorite, but the Belgariad and the Malloreon, along with Belgareth the Sorcerer and Polgara Sorceress are great too.

I never paid much attention to authors, but Nathaniel Hawthorne sticks out in my mind. Yes, I know that most people my age hate the Scarlet Letter, but I'll go on being weird.

I don't really know that many authors, but here are a few :-

J. R. R. Tolkien, Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, Douglas Adams, Charles "Lewis Carroll" Dodgson, Inio Asano, Naoki Urasawa, Yuki Urushibara (Mushishi), and the guy who wrote 'Ciguatera'.

I also like the little guy in my head who writes all those dreams I keep having.

Cheerz! 😁

David and Leigh, yeah gotta give her credit too, are among the few authors that can make me laugh so hard I have to put down the book until I stop, Douglas Adams was another that could do that. The Redemption of Athalus is probably the best stand alone novel I've ever read. I must say it's great to see other Eddings fans 😀

Oh, I love Jonstein Gaarder too! His books are hard to find though, except for Sophie's World and Solitaire Mystery.
