I read manga mainly from online readers like mangafox and onemanga. Both of these readers for copy right purposes I guess don't upload manga thats been licensed by amercian comics like Darkhorse. Also some scanlators don't like their stuff getting uploaded to these kinds of places(I know JanimeS doesn't).

So, basically what I'm looking for are manga that you wouldn't find on a manga reader like mangafox. This would include manga that are licensed by comics like Darkhorse or from scanlation groups that don't "share their work".

I'm open to any and all kinds of manga as long as they're good they're fine by me.

heres a list of manga I know that aren't on mangafox/onemanga which are scanlated.

Gantz
vulgar ghost daydream
lone wolf and cub
savage garden

At the very least I would appreciate it if you could name scanlation groups you know of that don't "share their work", and if at all possible reccomend some for me.

did you even read the links you posted?

Groups Scanlating
AS-SS
Aladar
Binktopia
Buried With Manga
More...

Each one has a gorup information page with a website/irc/forum etc.

If you're asking about where to download them, I suggest you re-read this site's rules.

Don't misunderstand, I'm not looking for scanlation groups scanlating those specific mangas, nor am I looking for downloads.

What I'm looking for are manga that wouldn't be on a reader site like mangafox. Which are either manga licensed by an american comic (like Darkhorse) and aren't uploaded for copyright reasons, or manga scanlated by scanlators who prefer their works not to be uploaded to such sites.

I suppose its true I could go to the scanlation group sites of the ones who scanlated the mangas I've mentioned to see if they scanlated anymore of such mangas. So thanks for pointing me in that direction.

I understand exactly what you mean. I spent enough time myself looking for manga like that.

Can't Lose You
Archlord
X-1999

The scanlator senfgurke2 usually releases manga like that.

I have quite a few in my reading and wish list as well.

P.S. Dead Fantasy. Look it up.

are you looking for manga that's licensed but not scanlated? 😕
anyways, Bride of the Water God stopped being scanlated on onemanga/mangafox because it was licensed by Dark Horse. Only on onemanga and mangafox only, though. You can still read it on animea and other sites.

Cough >> Click me.

I recommend Storm in Heaven (no licensed manga, but they keep their projects off sites like mangafox)

Nope. What happens alot I guess is that scanlation groups scanlate manga(either partially or completely) and then later on after its scanlated, it gets licensed. Since sites like Mangafox etc don't allow manga thats been licensed in america(like by darkhorse) these scanlated mangas are either taken down from the site or are never uploaded.

Also, some scanlation groups ask that manga reader sites like mangafox to not upload their scanlated work.

Since I read primarily from manga reader sites perfectly good scanlated manga have gone unread because its not on there. 2 mangas I've read are like this. Vulgar ghost daydream is scanlated but licensed and not on mangafox, savage garden its partially scanlated, but the scanlation group JanimeS doesn't allow their work to be uploaded.
