No, they had his hair long for something, I've seen other pictures were he looks like that. And I couldn't tell you who manipulated it. I want to find this one picture of him with his hair spiked, he reminds me of a rockstar. Which then leads me to think about the HBO special on The Chamber of Secrets. The following is the conversation as I remember it.
Tom: We're not not really enemies, we love each other really.
Dan: Yes.
Dan: I have pictures of him -
Tom: Shut up, shut up -
Dan: with his hair all spiked up.
I'm not sure who squealed louder, me or my brother. We both started having fun with that conversation.

That's the picture I was talking about, and I went online to find that clip, too. If you do make an HxD thread, I will totally be there.

Let's define blood traitor, shall we? I'm going to call it someone that associates and has no problem with muggles and/or muggleborns.
Let me explain: The whole relationship starts with Ron seeking out a place to sit on the Hogwarts express. He has his pet rat which is well passed expiration. But somehow this wizard family does not recognize the longevity. He is continually absent in someway whenever Harry needs him. In the Philosopher/Sorcerer’s Stone he fights the devils snare. Chamber of Secrets has Ron failing to join Harry in the Chamber. He traps himself on one side while Harry goes it alone. Yes, Ginny does lie in the Chamber. But as Bellatrix Lestrange indicates the pureblood deatheaters would gladly sacrifice a child for Voldemort.
If memory serves correctly, Lockhart is the one that caused the cave-in when he attempted to use Ron's damaged wand. Also, the Weasely's seemed devastated when they found out. I will admit it could have been an act, but Dumbledore is a Legilimens, so he could have known if they were faking grief. But again, Bellatrix never said that the child wouldn't be mourned.
I'll return to this later.

In Prisoner of Azkaban, Ron is confronted by the longevity of Scabbers. He supposedly hates this rat yet fanatically chases after it and is vehement in his accusation of Crookshanks. He won’t let go when a Grim or Dog grabs him and carries him to the shrieking shack. He does not want to let go when Sirius and Lupin try to show that the rat is Pettigrew. It’s almost as if he is aware of the nature of Pettigrew. Once again Ron is unavailable to assist Harry because of his newfound devotion to Scabbers.
Haven't you ever complained about something but secretly cared for it? I will moan endlessly over things I care about, I've always done that, so Ron's behavior might not be that odd. Since he was being pulled by a symbol of death, maybe he was too afraid to let go, or just didn't think about it. Then, you have a convicted murdered and a werewolf (something Ron showed displeasure at) telling him that his rat had been fooling him. Being fooled by a rat doesn't say much for you, and you're not exactly being told my the most reliable sources - one has been lying all year and the other spent twelve years in a place were most are driven crazy. Also, Sirius broke Ron's leg when he pulled him down, it got caught in a root of the Whomping Willow. He did, however, help knock Proffessor Snape out.
Goblet of Fire shows Runs true nature appearing. He is angry and what he sees as Harry’s betrayal. But, what is most interesting to the story is that Mr. Weasley is not present when the Deatheaters are spotted. And it takes a long time to find Harry in the woods. He alone gets separated completely from the others. Plus, Ron has a change of heart after seeing the dragons and tells Harry even though he is mad.
Hmm, anger at a friends betrayal, Ron is a bit of a hothead, nothing big there. It is true that Mr. Weasely wasn't in the tent asleep with the others, but there could be explainations for this such as help being needed to get the Irish to quit celebrating. 🙂 Harry is never alone in the woods, he stays with Ron and Hermione after running into Draco near the adge of the forest. The trio were separated from the twins and Ginny. After seeing your friend in a dangerous situation, wouldn't you try and fix things? I don't think it had sunk in yet that the Tournament was dangerous. All the other times Harry had been in danger had been accidents or the results of plots. In the Tournament, no one could protect Harry, he had to be in those dangerous positions.
Once again, I'll return to finish later. (I'm working with a hectic schedule, sorry.)

It's Harry Potter related, so not really off-topic. This is a video I personally like, if only for how the songs goes with the scenes. (Nothing bad or manipulated, I promise.)

I'm a Slytherin or Ravenclaw. I want to know whats different about Ravenclaw and Slytherin. I mean cunning is another way of saying your smart. Slytherin - Ambition, Cunning, and Resourcefulness. Ravenclaw - Intelligence, Knowledge and Wit.

Beautiful song. I like the way that it makes the movie look. But is it just me or is it kind of strange that the song is a love song and it shows Harry with mostly guys? Haha, just teasing. I mostly see it this way from the above video. ^^ Very cute.

But Slytherins look after themselves and will stoop to more drastic, underhanded means. I suppose you could add manipulative to the list of their attributes.
