Is that what pocky is!?! When I pass by Family Dollar/Dollar General I usually pick some up. There is usually a 2 for $1 deal going on with those. My family and I can tear through the can in no time flat. They're good, but not "I must break the bank for these" good. Why get one that's authentic yet expensive, when you can get a cheap knock-off that tastes just as well? 😕 (that is I'm guessing it tastes just as well)
Edit: EEP! ^^; sorry for the mixup

I love Pocky 😀
before, my friend actually bought a small box for freaking $3.00!! 😲
I usually went to this oriental market near my house, so much cheaper. The same pocky cost $1.25 😃
but sadly...the store closed down
I tried the new Dessert Pocky the other day. It was kinda bad. D:
But it was the banana flavor one so maybe that's why.
Should have gone with Chocolate-chocolate. D:

Wah? 😕 They only costs about 90 cents a box for me
I say, any higher than $2 and it wouldn't be worth it. Might as well buy Hello Panda or something >_>

Erm, I believe she did state that those are wafer sticks...because they are. Pocky looks much more appealing xD

Those are most definitely not pocky. Pocky, you would know what it is because in big letters on the box, it says Pocky xD
But those wafer sticks are nice too, I love the vanilla ones. 🙂
EDIT: This is pocky

Yan yan is actually pretty good too, I actually love them more than Pocky because the chocolate/dip isn't already hardened xD

they're pretty expensive and i personally don't think they're worth the money
then again i've seen other japanese snack products marketed at a much higher price, like yan yan which is like pocky but they couldn't be bothered to coat the stick so you have to do it yourself

I gotta say... it really depends on the type. If we're talkn about just plain chocolate dipped ones. I can get those for like $0.99 at the oriental store I go to. They also sell these fancy ones that are dipped in like 3-4 layers of different type of chocolate. Also thick ones that are dipped in chocolate and covered with almonds, etc. etc. Those cost like $3-4 a box! 😲 I still get 'em from time to time when the urge arises.

I adore Pocky, but it is slightly expensive. What makes it fun is that there are so many different flavors and varieties (Dessert, Mousse, regular, etc.). I used to order it off online Asian supermarket websites just so I could try the kind not stocked in the asian gift shop I frequent while at my college campus.

Not worth it, I think I've bought it like twice maybe. Anyways, with a vic card you can get a whole package of chips ahoy for the same price, and they taste a lot better.
