some girls at school talk about it but they were selfish and they did not tell what it was, after that I had to learn a little bit. it was hard because the only way to know about it was trough cartoon network. After that internet came and well...thanks to this site i have a long list!

my twin sister wached anime inuyasha it was dubbed on TV and told me to watch the next ep with her we were 7 or 8 then we started to watch more anime ^^

I got really into Pokemon when I was young (maybe around 7-8 years old?) by watching the original dubbed series on TV and VHS. I was also really into Sailor Moon, and it just spiraled from there - Yu-Gi-Oh! was a huge part of my life for a long while. I think the one that really introduced me to anime/manga as a separate genre (as opposed to just cartoon) was probably finding random anime in our local library (The Slayers and Angelic Layer were big ones), and finally the incompleteness of the library collection brought me online... and the rest is history.

I got into manga through my neighbor, which is I was seeing him as an older brother to me. He brought all death note's volumes to me, and he said "took care of them and read it carefully, I am sure you would like these" I was so happy for that.
