...I mean, I feel bad for the kid, but that reaction is a little absurd. Parents are people too, even slutty ones, and it's not like anything technically abusive actually happened to the child. You should relearn the definition of "abuse," it has pretty specific legal prerequisites.

Illegal exposure / corrupting a minor has very different ramifications and sentences than abuse. It's unlikely the kid would be put in foster care or anything of the sort for a single mistaken instance, but with actual abuse that could be a very real possibility. It's technically not abuse. If anything it would be negligence unless you have some totally unsupported (as you weren't present and the text does not suggest any such thing) rationale for believing the mother intentionally exposed her sex life to a four year old.

You should read the things you try to present as evidence more often -_-;;. That's a single extreme case where witnesses believed it was done intentionally. Besides that, there was no social worker involved. In no way does it set a legal precedent.

I'm not saying the kid wasn't traumatized, and that it wasn't a bad situation, but you're having a pretty distinct overreaction to something that could easily happen on accident.

For such a extreme sentence probably he was doing it on purpose or something because
1- It's too hard a sentence
2- He was in his own home, you can dress however you want inside your house.

If it was unintentional and the juries still made this sentence you can be sure of one thing: They have no sons and probably had no father, only a person like that can take away someone sons so easily.

Yeah, I don't think it was bad parenting or abuse. It was just Really Really bad timing. She had her roommate watch the kids while she was at the bar and the kids were asleep by the time i got there, around 1:30 am, and if the kid had not had a nightmare or woke up in the middle of the night then none of this would have happened, but things don't always go as planed. I don't think it was anyone fault it was just a case of bad judgment, so to answer your question, no i did not call child services and it never crossed my mind and if that make me a horrible person then so be it.

Also the child's bedroom door was closed and so was the door to the bedroom we were in was closed and as soon as we were aware that the child was there,a few seconds after the door was opened, we stopped and she took the child away from the situation and made sure he was ok. Its not like we were just going at it in the kitchen we tried to stay private, but I am intrigued how everyone has interpreted my little mistake lol.

All I have to say is that people need to get ready for sex. It's not just a casual fuck in the closet or the back of the library. It needs to be prepared and plus the foreplay.
