So negi lived the first 6 years (or was it 5?) in the magic world
and in that time Asuna grew 1 year at the most... then Negi spends 4 years in the real world and the chibi asuna now has 16?

Well that would make sense... but that makes everything more complex... like for how long has the Thousand master truly been missing?

A few decades in the magic would could equal a few years in the real world... so... meh

The timeline began to deviate when the gates were destroyed. Since the Magic World is in a different dimention, that makes sense.
About Asuna: I just think she ages differently. Or doesn't age at all. The reason she grew might be because she thought she was human, and her body followed that thought.

FINALLY, chapter 288 its out... took forever.. >_<, but its better late than never, and now negi's going to make 4 more pactios at least in the next chapter... that would be something to droll about hehhehee
