actually theirs another flashback/dream of asuna in the more recent chapters also showing nagi wasn't that smart. oh and thiers a good reason why asuna doesnt remember anything even though it hasnt been explained yet.

i just fin reading vol13...the end of the tournament..and here's my take..

well the existence of nagi and negi as two different entity is getting stronger...there was a clear picture of father-son angle during the tournament...but still my hunch could not be totally negated by those scenes..

there's a big difference of power between the two right?but their initial resource are just the same, same physical appearance and innate magic source maybe, and their difference in power could be explained by the difference in experience or background..nagi was a natural genius who was not studious and learned great things through personal experience. on the other hand negi(or young nagi) was pushed into being studious after meeting his "father", but in spite of his innate ability, he just lacks actual experience like his previous self(negi)...so again, i guess their difference in power was the result of difference in experience and background...

and... time travel and parallel dimension are still good excuses...maybe nagi needed to go back in time to learn or earn something important for himself, or even to save the world.. so he and his friends need to push Negi a little in the right direction from time to time... so their appearance and absences...

another point is that viewing it from the romantic angle, it would look bad for Asuna to be taken with the father, then the son, aside from having a crush on takamichi at the present...she sure would look very fickle and slutty then, right? so having a crush on takamichi is ok, but liking both the father and the son is not good...unless their just one person.

also, the mother part is still missing, Negi was neither delivered by the stork you know, nor was he adopted...unless he wasn't born, then Negi=Nagi is still a possibility..

theory isn't really a bad one but the only thing is that...he isn't like Kamo -perverted, smokes etc. And furthermore, i think a lot of ppl are frustrated that the group will shall remain unnamed skipped two bloody chapters and that messed up their list....hell i know i am >_> (I can't skip or rather...i dont wanna skip two chapters >_<)

me I'm still thinking that my theory nagi=negi might still be a possibility after reading ch179..

although negi as a separated entity might really be a big possibility, it's the main topic of the story even..I'm just hoping for a big twist...its just that I'm stubborn and if having a father is a big issue in the story then what about having a mother? seems strange that she's not even mentioned even once? how come negi's looking for his dad and not even thinking of finding or having a mom?seems unfair..

but negi=nagi is sure hard to explain after reading the rest of the story...

about Chamo=Nagi, could be, but what did he do to be punished like that?did he exposed himself?there wasn't any news about him turning into ermine right? and yes character-wise they are different..

I see that F-O has announed that #185 will be the last chapter of Negima! that they scanlate. That's too bad, as I was enjoying their work. Now I will need to wait for Aquastar to catch up on the 10 chapters that they are behind F-O before we see any new stuff (probably 2-3 months!).

Well, I don't really see why AQS should catch up rather than continuing since F-O did quite a good job, especially considering the fact that he did it alone, unless of course if they want to do HQ scans.
