There are people that find yaoi/yuri/hentai images disturbing, me included.

I would appreciate if there was a rule banning these kind of pictures in avatars and signatures, and I bet many others would too.

Why do I have the feeling that you're talking about xombie and the god-knows-how-many fma avatar users? Xombie was already made to change his avatar. Fma avi gives off that shounen-ai feeling, but there's nothing really disturbing on it.

I didn't see any complaints back when only one person was using it.

People are so picky nowdays.

First.

You all know that the image is not a "hint for shounen-ai"

And saying that Ed got something in his eye is really ridiculous.

Second.

I'm against all hentai/yaoi/yuri images, not just the FMA one. Maybe this one just called my attention because you use it too much.

That's why I'm asking for a general rule, not just that independent image to be banned.

Marmot, if it bothers you and no one else (which it doesn't seem to) you are SOL. The mods on this forum are fair and listen to the members opinions, so I don't see how one person making a complaint holds any validity considering that not one person has sided with your argument.

There is a rule against explicit images. I believe yaoi/yuri/hentai falls under that category.

There have been a lot of Shounen-Ai avatars around anyway, you're just saying this because they used the same one and it caught your attention, if each of them had used different shounen-ai avatars...you wouldn't even notice...

To further beat a dead horse I looked up the word 'intimate'. It has a range of meanings. However, kissing is not covered, but rather skipped--the range goes from friendship abruptly to sexual relations.

I cannot find any other ways one could even try to put the image to which this hubbub is about in the category of yaoi.

You are completely right, I guess there is just no way to avoid yaoi content(.....sorry....two guys kissing is not yaoi these days...almost forgot...) Even when there was a filter build in this site to avoid specific manga genres.

I guess the only way to avoid it is just to stop using the forums. There is just no other way.
