I am feeling this manga is losing its childish touch and heading somewhere else... and I am liking it...
JUST NOT Nodoka!!!, ASUNA please AKAMATSU KILL ASUNA, Nodoka hasn't done anything bad, and is actually a interesting character... not like that cliche princes called Asuna.

Thats the fake Asuna out there. But still, Akamatsu probably won't kill off the characters. Negi is going to come in at the last second with a deus ex machine and whoop everyone. Thats how a shounen is.

I know she is the fake Asuna, but that doesn't change the fact that the real Asuna is a walking cliche big annoying sister type.

I had the feeling the first one to die was going to be Jack Racan, and I loathe that possibility, because he has become my fav character (UBER HAX), but now I am worried about Nodoka... think about it:

Negi can hardly move (Negi can't activate his powers with Chisame there, unless they are attacked directly... that is a fact)

Jack Racan is fighting an uber hax enemy (and the only reason he is not dead, is because he is hax himself), at least I hope he is not dead.

Is that super shadow mage vs 3 more than helpless girls (no real fighting power in that group).

The only ones that could help Nodoka (that aren't "PLOT" busy somewhere else) are Takamishi and Kagetarou (would be cool).

Or at least those are the only ones that come to my mind.

Who knows. The plot is already cracked up as it is. And since this had shifted to less comic-like to serious shonen, who knows? Probably not now, and not Nodoka, but I got a feeling that someone will die in the near future 😕

As chaoswind said, we still have a couple of our Mahora mages unaccounted for, and with Mana showing up at the ball, it'd be a safe bet that at least Takahata would be there as well. He'll probably reappear just in time, saving our imperiled ladies, and with their help, get to the gathering point with everyone else.

What gave you the idea he was gonna kill them off? 😕

I meant everyone getting killed just to come back later... DEAD is a GREAT plot tool, but MUST be used WISELY and shouldn't never be exploited... like in Dragon Ball
