I don't. Pretty much all my friends have no interest in it, but i think it's just because they're not willing to be open to it, not that they'd hate it. I won't force it on them, but would be nice if they developed a fondness for it.

Its not that people who dont know anything about manga/anime cant be my friends, its just the way it works out. Mostly cuz when I do get friends that dont know about manga/anime I force it into their brain.

Same with me, I would really like to talk to somebody about this stuff, but the only place where I can do it is here (not bad at all, but sometimes you want to talk into somebody´s face)

I don't really care. Manga is just a hobby of mine, it's not my life. Not that I'm hiding it or anything, but you wouldn't even know I'm into manga if you met me. 🙂
I just think manga is something that not everyone can just easily get into so I don't want to bring it up in conversation with people who aren't interested in it. It doesn't really matter, there are a million other things to talk about aside from manga. XD

well if someone doesnt kno it. ill casually read some good manga in front of their face, talk about it(manga or anime), and everytime they ask me what im doing i say im watching(insert fav anime here) eventually they ask about it and sometimes check it out themselves....i keep at it if it dont work the 1st time....this is how i got lion pyrofreak into anime/manga. she now luvs it ^_^

Occasionally I'll mention it but my friends usually aren't interested in anime or manga.

I rarely speak with friends about anime/manga unless they are fans too.

I'll try to explain about it to them if they seem interested. If not, I just move on as I know that there are many people who just would not care. I have my regular friends but I have my friends that have bonded with me over our shared love of manga, anime, manwha, etc. I don't really feel the need to make everyone around me appreciate it. I mean, I wouldn't really appreciate it if my friends started trying to convince me to like the things they do.

The most I do is just carry stacks of manga that I lend to my friends... The only times I really talk about manga outright is if a) they bring it up, or b) I know they read manga in the first place.

I mean, since I carry manga around so often, it's kind of difficult to find a friend of mine who just doesn't know I read it or what it is... It all depends on if they're curious enough to find out, or if they just don't want to bother. But, like most other people are saying, I don't like to force it on people. It's something that I like, but that doesn't mean that other people will automatically like it. And that's basically my policy...
