Correct me if I'm wrong, but did anyone else noticed that the zombie in the bear costume wasn't Rin's father?

Which I'm not entirely sure how that happened? Rin's father's "heart" going into the zombie that killed him. It would be a bit understandable the zombie ate the dad's brain and somehow the memories went to the zombie making him think that he's Rin's father. (Making me think of that movie Warm Bodies)

Point - I'm wondering how many noticed it on the first read, or were like me and had to go back a few pages and reread it. (Or reread the chapter).

Yes yes, I know I make longwinded comments, but that's just me >.<
I should proof read my comments more, but I won't...
So keep in mind I'm filled with typos
