Something I regret saying? Well, one time, just after I'd gotten my braces, one of my dad's friends was talking to me. He said something along the lines of, "When I was your age, I thought girls with braces were really pretty." I was embarrassed (I hated my braces - still do, and besides that, everyone in the room was smirking at me, it was creepy), and I blurted out, "They had braces back then?" I felt really bad, because everyone laughed at him (and at me as well 🤢 ) - and, because that's probably the meanest thing I've ever said (out loud, anyway), now no one will let me forget it. It's very annoying >-<

More like regret not saying something-

Last year I dated a guy who I knew I loved but never said anything; it was the longest relationship I had been in. He would always say I love you though. But after my best friend told me something awful that he did I broke up with him, and said some really, really awful things to him. I just learned that my best friend was lying, which I don't know what to think of yet. And now I'm regretting every word I said to him, but it's too late to take them back since I just learned he passed away a few hours ago...

LunaMay; that's really afwul ( not what you said, but that the friend lied to you)..and it really sucks about that guy..= (

I always say things bluntly, and I just say whatever comes into my mind at the moment, whether it may hurt people or not, so yeah, that's kind of a problem (it sometimes gets me into a fight too ^^)..Some people do appreciate that I always say what I think though..but I want to change that, I'm tired of always getting into big fights because of my big mouth >.<

@Mai- Sorry to hear about that. That best friend of yours doesn't exactly sound like one.

I regret saying a lot of things. But one I always regret is replying to others when asked about my sexual orientation. Apparently when you say, "It does not concern you." it automically means your gay, strange since I am straight. .

I'm not one to regret asking anything. I may not like the answer that's given, but I'd still want to know.
As far as saying things, I'm sure that I have but nothing so consequential that I remember it.

I regret the stuff that i say on a day to day basis, but if it had to be one. it'd probably be this:

So its was a couple of months after I moved to the US from India and i was in 3rd grade and usually, at least in India, 3rd graders don't talk about penises. That day our teacher was showing us an acronym to remember whatever we were doing and in the middle of the acronym was the work dick. So as all 3rd grades boys do, as if it needed mentioning, each boy started whispering about the word to their friends, and giggling. Then, the guy next to me points out the word on the board to my attention waiting for me to join in the snickering. I simply stare at him and exclaim loudly "What's a dick?". No surprise, that got the attention of the entire classroom, not to mention the teacher who was too embarrassed to say anything. As you can imagine, I wasn't able to live that down very easily.

I happen to have a loud mouth and speak my mind which has its consequences. There are things I regret saying.

I think we came back from buying some fast food when I don't know how but the conversation amongst me and my cousins took a wrong turn. Somehow I touched the subject about their parents' divorce and she got pretty upset about it too. 😢 Seriously, that was harsh when I look back on it but now all is forgiven and we tease each other like any other day.

don't have a serious one, but...
anyways, a couple of years back, i had this horrid french teacher. no one liked her, and she herself had a couple of favorite students. she spoke in a kinda weird dialect, she had bad breath, and a bold spot on the back of her head (so it was easy to make fun of her). after one particularly bad french class (she didn't single me out or anything, i think i was pretty okay-ish in her book, but she still pissed me off because she was really rude to my friend) i was walking to my next class with one of my friends, and i was trashing her pretty loudly. when i was almost at my next classroom, i turned around and she was like 4 feet behind me. i ran as fast as i could into my classroom, and she never said anything about it. but my french class was pretty much a living hell since then. 😔

at least i can laugh about it now 🤣

I regretted asking what certain terms meant some time ago. When no one answered I decided to google it. .___.

You know who you are, you evil people! D:

I tend to regret more not saying or asking something but googling stuff out of curiosity has led to many regrets.

Also when I was 8 I asked my mom what a condom was.
In my defense, she brought up the subject.
I think she regretted mentioning it more than I did asking about it.

bump.

I regretted confessing to some guy in elementary school. Not only did he grow up to be an egomaniac douchebag, he also has a very big mouth.

That little kiddie romance was ages ago. And this guy brings up my embarrassing little past with him, and tells all his friends, and about every acquaintance of his that knows me.

It's embarrassing. Regretful.
I can live with this, but all his friends give me this look and just laugh at me. Why can't people like him just grow up? :[
