...there wasn't any food in the house besides condiments and McDonald's burgers, which at the time were 33 cents each so my family got them in large quantities, and because I hadn't eaten that day I was fairly hungry. So, I ate almost a half of one when I started feeling ill... mostly because I was discussed with myself. So, from then on... I just will not eat meat.
I...don't really understand your story. You got sick from eating McDonald's burgers...and as a result stopped eating meat? Since when have McDonald's burgers and meat had anything in common? 😕

And for the non-vegetarians, would you ever give up your meatloving ways? D: What do you think about vegetarians and their way of life? o.o
No way in hell. I'm a straight up carnivore, and a world with no meat is a world I couldn't live in. As for the vegetarian way of life, I think they're pretty awesome. Cause after a week without meat I might hurt myself. (as in kill, but I didn't wanna say that...) 🤢

Nope. Never intend to become a vegetarian. Look at Luffy! He loves meat. That's why he's so strong!

I'm not a vegetarian, but I always wondered what I'd be like if I ever became one.

I'm a vegetarian since i was 13, and i never really noticed a change >> all my tofu stuff are exactly the same.
and i stopped eating meat cuz i got tired of imagining little baby cows skipping around in the flower fields right into the hands of evil men with axes every time i looked at my plate >>

Meat eater and I'm goona stay like this. Where I'm from there's a custom to not eat anything of animal origin for some certain days, that means no meat, milk, eggs. I can't stand it so I doubt I'll ever give up meat.

No. I grew up eating meat. Seeing the animal get killed. Watching it being cooked and eating it. Do I think it's wrong to do that? No. Do I agree with being cruel to animals though? No. Do I like PETA? Hell no. Do I have a problem with vegetarians? Not really, but I don't really like vegans.
You don't want to eat meat? Your choice, for whatever reason made you do it. But don't tell me not to eat it. Don't annoy me about eating it. Don't expect me to ever come to your house if you're just gonna feed me what you like. Just like I wouldn't serve you shrimp and steak if you come to mine.
I'm cool with veggies. I don't have a problem with eating them if I need to, but what the hell would you do if you had to eat meat to survive?
I'll never really understand it and I'm not sure I want to.

Maybe you should have read the part right before the section you quoted, which said I already stopped eating meat a couple of months before.
As for the story, I explained how I had relapsed once in the eleven years I've been a ovo-lacto vegetarian, and I will not again.

Omnivore for sure. I eat veggie and meat.
I think it depend of how they are cooked.
Only eat chicken, beef, and pork for meat,
i don't go for extreme such as eating kangaroos, snails, dogs, etc. 😲
i'm more flexible with veggie.. 😃

Carnivores are smarter than herbivores, and omnivores are the smartest of all (generally, environment and other factors have an effect too).
Current Dalai Lama eats meat every second day. He gave up on being a vegetarian due to failing health and his doctor's recommendation on starting to eat meat again.
Meat is something I'm very glad to be able to buy sometimes and I wish I was able to more often.
On most countries it's defined by law when and how much wild game you can hunt. There's also usually strict animal population control to keep any specific animal population from growing too large, which would be harmful for themselves, humans and other animals. More rare animals are protected from excess hunting and sometimes the hunting of a specific animal is prohibited altogether to prevent extinction.
Animals that die from (legal) hunting usually die a lot less painfully than when they die of "natural" causes (being killed by cold, hunger, carnivores etc.).
I can't see any reason to not eat meat because hunting is too "cruel". Another issue is viewing sports hunting as unethical (though even then the meat is being used just as in other hunting).
Most domestic animals would not survive in the wild. There's also strict regulation concerning keeping domestic animals, and if their living conditions are legally accepted (and sometimes otherwise), they often have much better living conditions than wild animals, and almost never much worse.
So then, as I don't see anything ethically wrong with it, and I live meat, there's no reason for me to become a vegetarian. So meat it is—when meat is available, and meanwhile I can write long, boring posts like this one.
Far-off places with sweet sounding names.

I don't eat meat,I don't eat it because I don't like the taste, nothing to do with pitying the little fluffy baby cows. But for example, when I'm really sick and a doctor say I should eat it, I do. It's like taking medicine, I don't like to but it's necessary.
There are also other problems with not eating meat, here in Brazil meat is the cheapest way to nourish yourself, so buying lots of vegetables is both expensive and tricky

I'm a vegetarian because I HATE THE TASTE AND TEXTURE OF MEAT!!!! It's so gross. I don't care about the "awful inhumane treatment of animals" (stupid veggie friends cry about it all the time). I am a hunter, for gods sake. I just don't like the smell, texture or taste. Just like some peoe don't like tuna (my mom), broccoli (lots of kids), etc etc!!! I don't even like calling myself a veggie, I just don't eat what I don't like.
