It doesn't really matter to me in everyday life, but I do often think about it.

I don't really care where we came from.
However, I am constantly thinking about what happens to us when he die. Scares the shit out of me.
I wake up in cold sweats almost every night and sometimes random panic attacks.
The unknown can be a frightful thing.
Science ftw.

Nope, not really. It would be interesting to definitively find out how we came to be, but it wouldn't have any real impact on my life. It's not as if this knowledge would change who I am, the only things that can do that are experiences.

I'm more interested in knowing about the theory of evolution as it might pertain to the next evolution of the Homo genus, beyond Homo sapiens sapiens.
I have no doubt that eventually we will evolve again. The question is: into what?
If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.
From a bumper sticker I like:
"If you're gonna ride my ass, at least pull my hair."
Meh sort of.
I mean, i'm interested in it, all the theories and stuff, but I don't really care at the same time.
We're alive now. Doesn't really matter how we got here. Interesting to know though. I don't think i'll be around if we do finally discover where we came from, if we ever do...

I find that it is a question that should be answered, however it isn't important to me personally. I think it is an interesting bit of knowledge that I would like to know--but it doesn't make a difference either way.

In a "yeah, that's interesting" sense, yes. In a manner relevant to my daily life, not so much.
