Well, if we evolved from the apes, then basically we're just animals and there's nothing wrong with killing each other or even cannibalism. Yes? No moral code, no reason for a moral code, and morals are pulled out of thin air.
If, on the other hand, we were created by God at the end of Creation, in his image, and were created holy, then humans are not animals, they are sacred, the moral law was given by God and actually means something, and there is indeed a reason for everything. Nicely orders everything, don't you think?

oh nononononooooo.

if human beings evolved from apes, than that just means that we were lucky enough to gain superior reasoning abilitys and a semi-advanced body, that doesn't mean that we have the right to just go about killing people just cause we are evolved from animals.

by your logic, its ok to just go about killing anything for the lulz, just cause we came from a lesser evolved animal species.

while i do agree that our moral code was pulled out of thin air, i don't agree that just cause it was, means that killing without just cause or for hunger, is right.

Imo anyway 🤣

Thirded, that ape theory was lame, you were right, I mean if apes became humans, how come that from Jericho (9000 B.C.) to now nobody reported an ape becoming human, because they dont, so what, when the first ten apes became human, the other God knows how many decided like "well, those ten are enough, we should like stay apes" I mean, its so stupid 🤣 🤣 🤣

Evolution is not a extremely fast process, people.
its very possible that they could become humans after a couple hundred of thousands of years, if in fact the world has not ended by that time.

but to be honest....there are many more holes in Creationism than Evolution, neither one has a direct answer for all questions, and by far, evolution has more Reasonable answers for the questions, rather than just "god did it!!!!"
its not that either are wrong, but for me, logically, it seems evolution is a much better choice.

But, i don't have all the answers, so its not like i cant be wrong, eh?
To each their own.

I'll just quote something for those of you bringing up the apes theory:

Quote from Stealth

P.S. And yeah, correction, evolution theory doesn't state that we evolved from apes. But that we and apes share a common ancestor.

See that in bold letters?

And no, it doesn't matter to me. It's in the past, it's done, so why bother thinking about it?

Sorry i'm going offtopic but somehow i had to answer that 😛
Evolution theory have its weak points, but it´s still valid, if not there wouldn´t be people believing in it. If i were an evolutionist (which i´m not really) i would say evolution is a process which takes million of years and species that had already evolved and had differentiated theirselves from others (apes/humans) take their own path in evolution, therefore apes won´t keep on evolving and turning into humans. I think an evolutionist will say: "if humans have always been humans, how come we haven´t discovered human fossils and instead discovered humanoid apes fossils dating million of years ago".

well a couple thousand years isn't enough to evolve. It's more like 17,000 years or more. Evidence tat we evolved from apes? We share like 98% or some really large percent of our DNA with chimpanzees. Now how would that be possible w/o us sharing a common ancestor

Get back on topic.

And I advise you to read some previous posts before you post sth that has been discussed before. All the evolution talk has already been done and I doubt any of you could add anything valuable.
...judging by what you guys wrote here, you better not post a word more.

it doesnt realli matter because i seriously doubt that whether we grew from some primordial soup or whether we were made by some greater agency, will really affect how we lead our lives. personally i cud care less and if someone makes an issue of it i tend to just tell them to shut up, not u guys tho

we also share 20,000 genes with earthworms 😛 (we have a total of like 35,000 genes i beleive)

the only time that information might pique my interest is when two drunks are having an argument over it. that's just plain fun to me otherwise, its too trivial to rele affect ur life.
